STP Discarding Packets from the Switch Port

Does your Nvr have two ports? What you’re seeing could be normal behaviour based on your setup. If there are two ports into the nvr then one port will be active and passing traffic the other will be blocking and so discarded packets.

Hi DarrenOC,
The NVR have the two LAN ports which are connected in two different switches. As you said in the NVR one port is in active state and other port in blocking state. If one port fail the traffic will flow by the other port.
