MV cameras now support role-based camera permissions for SAML/SSO.This allows organizations to better scale operations by managing individual permissions in one place, outside of the dashboard. To configure, navigate to Organization > Configure > Camera roles and select "Add Role". For each role, you can specify:
- Role Name
- Network access permissions, either all networks or specific networks based on tags
- Viewing permissions - view and export any footage, view any footage, or view live footage only
- Camera permissions, which allow either access to all cameras within the specified networks, or specific cameras based on tags for the specified networks.
Once configured, camera users will be able to log into the dashboard using the Meraki application within your identity provider. For more information, please see the Restricting Access to Cameras article in documentation.
