Is there an issue right now with MX cloud connectivity? Because we are currently we are experiencing intermittent unreachable status on our primary and spare MX. I already called TAC and they said that it might be a cloud issue.    I already talk to our upstream but they did do any changes and no blocking ports or addresses on their end. ... View more

We have an MS390-48P POE Switch. The device keeps on disconnecting in the cloud. At first the light is steady white, but now it's blinking randomly. We are worried that this may cause more problems in the future. Can anybody here help us solve this?    The firmware version of the switch is MS 14.32.     ... View more

It says "This switch is not connected to a stack."   We did troubleshooting with TAC yesterday and found out that on the SFP ports one of the switches is not working. So we are now processing RMA.  ... View more

Yes, we reseat the power supplies and power cables. There is a light on most ports and stack ports but still not detected. Our clients requested us to reboot the switches for clearing some data. I guess the issue becomes worst. After troubleshooting with TAC the SPF switch did not go up. We are now processing RMA for the faulty switch. ... View more

Duplicating clients name and IP address of a server

by Lourdes in Security / SD-WAN

We have two firewalls connected to one L2 switch that is connected to our 2 ISP.   The 2 ISP have a separate VLAN to separate their outbound traffic. ISP 1 VLAN is 1000 and ISP 2 VLAN is 2000. Port 1 of the L2 switch is connected to ISP 1 and port 2 is connected to ISP 2. Port 4 and 6 of the L2 switch are connected to both WAN 1 port of the 2 firewalls, with VLAN number 1000. While ports 3 and 5 are connected to the WAN 2 port of the 2 firewalls with VLAN 2000.    I believe the firewall is configured with VRRP. We are just wondering why port 4 has a 2 IP and duplicates one of the client's names and IP address of our server. Can anybody help us with this?   Thank you. ... View more

Here is our network diagram.       Most of the POE and Non-POE switches are connected to end-users. A loop guard is enabled to all ports for POE, Non-POE, WAN switch, and server switch. And all ports at the Core primary and Secondary are in RSTP forwarding state. ... View more

Loop detected after rebooting primary core switch

Our network has 2 Firewalls (Primary & Spare) and 2 Core Switches (Primary and Secondary). Our client decided to reboot the primary core switch because they are experiencing network dropout for several days now. After rebooting, the 2 firewalls suddenly lost connection and start having a rainbow light color. The network went back but we check the logs and there are several loops detected connected to the primary core switch. Is it because we reboot the primary core switch? Is this normal?  ... View more
