Hi Mike,   I wanted to address your SFP issue. SFPs are incredibly proprietary and so you will need to use one brand for the Meraki side and one brand for the Dell side. It is very possible that there is a Finnesar (just throwing out the first name that comes to the top of my head, this is not an endorsement) that will work in both models but you will need to do some google searching to find a compatible model for both brands.    I hope this helps.   Kathleen ... Also get the name of your Cisco sales rep and tell them that you would like support from the Free Trials Adoption Team. It really depends on what kind of clients you have. If your clients have devices that support WiFi7 then upgrading to APs that support this would not be a bad thing. I would suggest contacting your reseller and asking them about demoing one of the new wifi7 access points so that you can have a fair comparison to your existing APs. This really sounds like an upstream firewall issue. Here is a link to the KB to find out what ports need to be opened for the MR for the firewall. So go to the "?" in the upper right-hand corner of dashboard and select Firewall Information. Take a screenshot of this page and send it to the team that manages the firewall and ask them to open the relevant ports for the IP addresses that are listed. Let's start with the dashboard, what color does the AP show in dashboard? How long has the MR been in the state of not coming up? It's possible that it was doing firmware updates. Can your customer ping the device? Have you verified the ports that the MR needs by going to the "?" in the upper right-hand corner and verifying the inbound/outbound ports are available that are needed for the MR? Good job swapping the cables/optics. They normally cause a lot of CRC issues, but not outages like you are seeing. As was asked is it just the port or the entire switch? If you know the times maybe run a packet capture before it goes down to see what kind of traffic is coming in. Also if it is just a single port going down try plugging into another port.  ... You need to contact support for help but without access to the account or hopefully a backup account there is not much you can do. To move the devices to the new account, they must be deregistered on the dashboard. Your best bet might be to work with your IT team to gain access to the email attached to the account, do a password reset and then add a new administrator and remove the old account. ... View more

Try a new fiber cable and try cleaning the optics on the transceivers. In my experience, CRC's are either a bad cable, dirty optics or if this doesn't resolve the issue a bad transciever.  ... View more

No resetting will not help at all. The device needs to be unclaimed from the organization that it was purchased from (support will not unclaim a device). After it is unclaimed you will need to create a dashboard account and obtain a license in order for the device to work. Your best bet might be to return the unit and get your money back. ...
