You should be able to have a rough estimate how much bandwidth you could have using 20 MHz by using a taking the average PHY rate of all clients you expect to be connected to the AP and then taking about 2/3 to 1/2 of that as actual goodput. However the best thing you can do is allow for a few testing days of normal usage and just check the AP's of interest what their average airtime is.  If you keep below 50% in heavy use you should be fine using 20 MHz. ... I don't see NTP queries being made from Meraki devices over the public Internet - so I believe this is correct.   About 2 weeks ago I had a customers AnyConnect SAML configuration break because of time synchronisation.  The time it was syncing from the Meraki NTP servers was around 100s out.  SAML allows for a time error of 30s.   Support wasn't able actually to do anything.  I was hoping they could point it at some different NTP servers, but nope.  It can only use the internal Meraki time servers. After enough reboots I guess it locked onto a different internal NTP server with the correct time.   That is the only time issue I have ever run into. ... View more

Sounds similar to the issues on the 10th.  If still having issue make sure to open a case.  the https://status.meraki.net/ dosn't seem to get updated unless several people are calling in.    If you don't have your support ID to open a new case just use an old case or you will get stuck in the IVR. It’s running the latest firmware. The crazy thing is if you take it to the local Yamaha dealer the WXA connects as expected. I asked them about their AP and they use an out of the box ubiquity. Seems you also need bog standard consumer wifi to work with consumer products. Seems the Meraki can be a little to smart for its own good and don’t underestimate dirty old Apple with their ancient Apple talk protocols I’m sure are not helping the situation. @RogerMurdock Yes - I (too) had a similar experience and discovered it boiled down to the way T-Mobile sets up services/devices.  The work around that I took was to "ask" for their home cellular gateway appliance and unlimited service.  Once I established the T-Life mobile app requiring me to confirm the 6-digit passcode to the home cellular device and service worked on their hardware...I turned off the device and pulled the SIM card.  Their home cellular gateway was at NO additional charge.  The SIM was put into the MG51 and works as planned - you might have to add your MG IMEI to the plan for the device to work. Probably not the most ideal way to proceed but it got me over the hump per se with establishing T-Mobile service since I wasn't a T-Mobile customer prior to receiving the MG51. ... View more
