*Disclaimer* This is just an idea and if not allowed please let me know. What does the community think about putting together a 30-90 call (pick a platform doesn't matter I'm sure Meraki would say Webex). The name of the call could be "The White Board" (just getting a name out there). The goal is to have 1-3 real world design or break fix issues we face or have seen on the forums and try to come up with a solution for those topics. I think the frequency of the call should be 3 to 4 times a year so it doesn't get to over whelming and people could look forward to the event and not look at it as "ooo that thing again". Again just tossing this idea out there and if something sparks we can start to formalize something.

I am looking for a way to word this and not sound cheap or rude. When I look at new devices as a generational leap I look for A. older premium features to be pushed down or B. an increase in som elimination that the prior generation had. Saying that when looking at the MS130/150 I was really hoping Meraki would come out swinging. To Meraki's credit they released a L2 switch that does M-gig and POE++, but the M-gig ports are a bit limiting and for a switch that will be deployed in my environments for the next ~8 years deploying a primarily 1G switch just misses the mark. Tossing this out as an example if Meraki would have released a 150MP with 12 Multi-gig ports and 12 1G ports I could live with that. Perfect work we could have had an option with 16 or 20 2.5G POE+ ports and 4-8 10G ports with UPOE. Then toss in the option to buy an Advance license and gain L3 light or full L3. I truly am looking for the silver lining with these switches and I could be sold but for my companies use case and the current price points this direction doesn't line up.

This post is just for fun, but if you could have ONE thing added from Meraki what would that one thing be? It could be a feature, hardware, or forum change. My one thing is Radius WPA3 Enterprise. Adding this would allow me to have IPSK on 6GHz. It was a close race with having a 8/12 port 10G uplink 2.5G POE++ switch with L3 "optional".

@cmr I can see that as well. I think when I look at replacements for the next 5-10 years this configuration doesn't feel like that pure next gen leap from a company. This switch config (again to me) feels like a small jump to test the waters and let's see if we can release a MS160 in 2-3 years. Not bashing anyone just expressing my thoughts.

I'm kind of Meh on the port configuration. In a perfect world would love to see 24 port 4 SFP+ 8 Port 10G UPOE 16 Port 2.5 POE or UPOE Less Perfect world 4 SFP+ 8 Port 10G UPOE 8 Port 2.5 POE or UPOE 8 1G POE+ @cmr thanks for the extra detail and links good sir.

TLDR = No The focus of Meraki is a cloud based networking solution. Some vendors (including Cisco) does have a local control system, but Meraki is pure cloud control for the moment.

If you brought it from eBay you can contact the seller and let them know about the issue. From there you could file a claim with eBay to help resolve the issue. If you didn't use some kind of protected site to do this transaction you're out of luck unless the seller can release the switch. To save you the time support will not be able to help in this case. If you were the original buyer sale could have helped you here, but since that isn't the case you are left with very few options.
