Update : I got answer from TAC, and they said that some kind of SSL inspection on on-premise side is rejecting MR's SSL certificate because it's "unknown CA". And it seems recently updated firmwares(MX/MS/MR) are all using SSL certificate.

I'd check your actual API usage. How many other users (or applications) have API keys? You have to share the budget with those other folks in the same org. Even if your usage hasn't changed, there are likely others using API more, thus competing with your usage. In the API docs, check Organizations > Monitor > API Requests for the two endpoints that give you this info.

Oh, there were mentions about expire alert. Thanks. But I remember that I got first alert 90 days prior to license expiration date, and got several more on the line. It seems there are kind of policy update inside Meraki Dashboard.

In the white list that you indicate, you mean the option "Add client", if that is it. The truth is, consult the support and they told me that you cannot delete the clients you add. You can change their policies so that you enable or block them. "But they cannot be erased"

Thanks @kYutobi (and others who said the same thing) — curiously, I had to ask for it, and they granted it. Strange thing to have to ask for, but OK! Sadly I still can't get my legacy devices on the network. I'm giving up. Time to upgrade I guess.

Use getOrganizationNetworks and it will brings you every network's information including timezone info within an organization. As described on https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Managing_Dashboard_Access/Managing_Dashboard_Administrators_and_Permissions you can have „Full“ or „Read-only“ permissions only. Apart from what‘s already mentioned (Networks), you can give specific permissions based on Tags. A wee bit more flexibility would be nice though as both of you already mentioned. But hey, we can „Make a wish“ 🙂

I disagree with ignoring the cancer casualties and consequences of it, especially that science didn't achieve much in understanding the cause and curing it effectively. Have a look at cancer death rates, worldwide. LGBT people also die from cancer (I think), so it should be a global quest, to find the cause and cure for cancer.

LIC-MR-ADV-1Y is Advanced Wireless license, and it only can apply to per-device license organization https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Other_Topics/Cisco_Meraki_and_Umbrella_Integration_-_MR_Advanced%2F%2FUpgrade_License You have to get Enterprise license(LIC-MR-1Y) in order to apply to co-termination organization. Therefore, I think you have to choose one of these options. 1. Convert organization from co-termination to per-device license. By this way, you can use already bought license, but you have to keep in mind difference between co-term. and per-device model. 2. If you want to keep co-termination model, you have to buy renewal license again with LIC-MR-1Y. In this case, you have to discard already bought licenses.

IMO you need to establish if this is the Edge router, NEST cameras or the MR42 that is the root cause of the issue. If other devices also go offline do a tracert 8.8.8.8 to see where the traffic times out. Do it both wired to the network and next whilst connected to the MR42 (not simultaneously). Internet outages can be caused by your router, loss of wireless connectivity or drop in the connectivity to your router from the ISP depending on the type of connection you have. Finally EA4500 also has WiFi, ensure it is disabled to stop signal conflicts. Hope this helps. Cheers

@Cyber_Owl you can get support to make the MX treat WAN2 like a cellular connection. You will then be able to set some rules to allow only certain traffic over cellular (actually WAN2). Depending on what you use the ADSL for, this may or may not work, if only for the customer internet) then you should be in luck.

As @Netwow states, you do have to have an adv security license. (But my company ONLY sells MX with adv security.) I'm broadly speaking not a fan of country-based blocking, even though we do it at a few financial customers because it makes their auditors happy. I don't think it's effective in a day and age where anyone can buy a prepaid credit card and spin something up at a cloud provider. I do think it's effective at accidentally breaking things, especially in the case of some of Microsoft's IP space. Or just preventing access to useful things and increasing the risk of shadow IT.

@Kamome reply is pretty much all of the options. Would i be correct in assuming the SIM you have been provided is by your MPLS provider, so your data connection, even through via SIM, is being MPLS'd if you will excuse the expression. You arent going out on a general SIM card to a data connection and DMVPN or some such back into the MPLS? The "C" series of Meraki routers are likely to be the best option, that and the MG devices. They will give you manageability of your WAN. Get a trial of an MG and your desired MX and test it out. Get yourself lined up with a test SIM card from the MPLS provider and simulate it. You have 30 days for the Trial, no commitment.

There is no way a telephone line to leased line has better connectivity than leased line to leased line. The stats on the MX confirm that. I rebooted the MX which cleared the erroneous 100% loss rate the MX was reporting on WAN1 however it still overrides the manual policy that is meant to send everything down WAN1 and sends stuff down both. Loss/latency/jitter stats are much better on WAN1. Just knocked off the active-active auto-VPN which broke connectivity to from this MX to one of our other sites. So it seems that autoVPN will not form over this particular interface therefore will only send it over WAN2. I'm at a loss, will be logging with Meraki

Hello @Kamome The KB lists only a subset of all possible events that are reported by Meraki Devices to the Syslog. I did confirm from our internal resources that VRRP related events are reported to the Syslog Server by the MX. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Meraki Team
