Thank you for the clarification. White is much nicer color. I have some under some air conditioners and the green looks terrible against the white wall. Another Question when I am at a customer site how can I tell if they have been replaced by looking at them, if they are both white now ?? is there some other tell tale sign ??

Can some one please conform that has just bought a new Leak Sensor cable that they received the MA-CBL-LEAK-1 and not the MA-CBL-LEAK-1A ?? and was it White or Green ???

I got this update from support the (MA-CBL-LEAK-1) I received is one that has the issue fixed and the case closed automatically This is very very confusing.. So all new cables that have the defect fixed have the same part number as the cables that have the defect. The colour is exactly the same as the ones that have the defect. When I look at them side by side I can not see any difference between them. I admit the White cable looks so much better than the green one and looks very ugly under the white aircon unit it protects. I prefer the white cable but would have liked to have seen something on the cable that indicates that this is the 1A cable even a green dot on the plug. If Meraki know exactly all the customer that received the faulty leak cables why is this not listed in the Help-> hardware replacements menu for the people effected ? I have sold Leak Detectors to other customers and have NO idea if they have faulty cables to. I can not look at the existing cables and know by colour. I cannot look in the dash board and know they were part of the recall. Am I missing something here ?? What colour cables have others been getting as part of the recall I would be interested to know.

I spend a a lot of time submitting feedback but now I am wondering if you even get it. on the old dash board you get and empty dialog box with an OK.. On the new dashboard you get submitting feedback but no confirmation... and the screen never returns....... on the old dashboard you get blank dialogue... I just tried in chrome and you get positive feedback the feedback was submitted.

I have 3 x Leak sensors White cables. (MA-CBL-LEAK-1) these have been recalled and replaced with 2 x Green cables (MA-CBL-LEAK-1A) and 1 x White cables (MA-CBL-LEAK-1) I assumed the green cable is the newer model cable and the White was the older one that was recalled ??? Was I sent one more faulty cable how could I know ??? Charles

Have a Central MX with 30 Spoke Z3 with people working from home. with Auto SDWAN One internet application requires the source IP to be specific (the outside IP of the MX) If we set the Z3 to have default route to central MX then all works fine except all internet traffic from all Z3 goes via the Central MX killing the internet performance with Office 365 traffic. Would like to turn off the default route so the Z3 use local internet and then add a single static route to all Z3 for single ip address (eg 203.44.X,Y) and send this via the SDWAN. There does not seem any way to do this from Z3.. I tried adding a static route at the MX and ticking include in VPN the advertisement works and all the Z3 see it The issue is you can not add a static route and point to the internet ??? even putting the WAN gateway IP as the next hop is accepted but the packet is dropped by the MX as it expects the packet to go out the LAN not the WAN. Any one got a way I can achieve my end result of having a single IP address routed via the Central MX and out to the internet. ?? Could this be done with a SDWAN Policy in traffic shaping but the Z3 does not have this option.

I have seen this before. in my case it was channel utilization and co-channel interference. It could be Channel utilization especially if they are 2.4Ghz it might be high causing a lot of retries and using more battery power. you need to measure the AP signal strength at the device and make sure it has enough for the min data rate and MCS rate it is connected at. co-channel interference from other devices the tenants have causing excessive re transmits. This also assumes the WiFi was designed to work at MIN data rate of 24Mbps these higher modulations require more power to transmit and decode but are quicker to transmit if no retries. IoT devices generally are LOW speed low, bandwidth and like low MCS rates as the radios are poor compared with a PC. you might want to have a separate SSID just for these devices with lower data rates if the WiFi was not designed for 24Mbps on 2.4Ghz. At these rates I could guarantee co-channel interference on 2.4hz with all the AP so close to support these rates and with only 3 non overlapping channels

Microsoft states that it may be possible to mitigate the bug by disabling the 'Vendor ID,' if possible, on the VPN server. Meraki is this possible by settings or a firmware update as this update is just going to reinstall. Microsoft confirmed on Thursday that "Certain IPSEC connections might fail" and that they will fix the issue in an upcoming release of Windows.

What is the meraki SLA for hardware replacement and warranty ? I thaught it was Next Business Day ? I had hardware fail and have been told they don't have any parts in Australia ? How can this be the case ?? How can cisco not have a good spare parts inventory to cover all the active service contracts ?

Looks like something has changed. The login time is now back to 1 seconds and the Meraki IOS app now works again. hopefully fixed for others as well now

It is definitely the server end. The issue also stopping the IOS app working... just says "Band internet connection" Other users in the organization are having the same issue. tried multiple machines and multiple internet service providers and same issue. I have now opened a case with support 06827732 and sent them the Crome .har file you can clearly see the 40 Second delay with the cloud responding to login. If you are having the same issue can you mention the country you are in.

Anyone else getting 40 Seconds + login times ?? (last 2 days) https://account.meraki.com/login/dashboard_login once logged in it is normal speed. Some times it fails and says you are locked out after too many failures (but you are NOT actually locked out as if you wait 5 min and try again it may work and getting other users who can login (after waiting 40 seconds) it says the account status is OK. maybe it is just shard 153 in APAC Just wondered if other users have this issue in past 2 days.

Any one having issues with one way audio using MS teams to PSTN network with MX64 ? I have a number of customers using TEAMS voice to the PSTN network. If you dont make any calls for a while when you make the call you get 1 way audio Called party can not hear the calling party. You hang up and then call again and it works. and keeps working till you don't make calls for a while (say 30 minutes) customer are now ringing there mobiles first before ringing person so they know it will work. if I remove the meraki and put in a cisco router running NAT it works fine.. It is like something gets setup on first calls and then stays there and then times out after no use... tried a sip phone via MX and it works fine. just seems to effect MS Teams Any one else seeing this ??

My first ethernet network was 10BaseT it was a THICK Yellow Cable with marks every 2.5 meters. The cable was 89m long with terminators at each end. To add a computer you attached a vampire TAP and then using a orange drill tool you drilled into the side of the cable to the thick core and installed the vampire tap. you then connected the vampire tap via and D15 AUI cable to the network card in the computer . You could only TAP at the TAP marks 1.5 meters apart (so collisions could be detected) so there were a lot of big loops of yellow cable under the desks. I still have a piece of the cable and terminator as a memento when decommissioned by the new 16mb Token ring network on Shielded twisted pair and still have the orange tapping tool and an AUI cable !

Just an update for you all. it has taken along time for support to get back to me. Switches boot with an IP address 1.1.1.1 it then changes to the static address or the DHCP address. Support can not tell me why they use 1.1.1.1 (some one else IP address) or how the switch could ever use this address to get to the cloud. If you are upgrading 3 switches at a time then they will all reboot and at the same time there will be 3 devices with 1.1.1.1 causing the MX to error with duplicate IP. If some one from engineering could explain what the rational is it would be great.

Yes issue seen on 120s and 125s and switches on DHCP and default VLAN 1
