It sounds like you were referring to the wrong doc if it mentioned MX. this is the correct one https://documentation.meraki.com/Go/Meraki_Go_-_Client_VPN_Setup

I could bee wrong, but I don't think that is possible. Someone must have renewed it without your knowledge. Like someone who manages your IT; employee or third party.

Ouch. I see. This seems like a fairly big concern. It may not be the most heavily used feature, but surely Cisco is on this. Have you heard any update? And thanks for replying so fast. Side question: Looking at my deal without doing all the comparison yet it seems subscription licensing is much cheaper. Is that your experience?

I am interested in this because I am also a reseller and working on my first subscription licensing deal. I understand the issue with not being able to RMA the co-term license (hopefully you resolve somehow). Can you describe in more detail why you can't add cameras to the subscription? I thought this new subscription license model/method was more flexible. Is it just some particular issue with MV cameras? Otherwise it doesn't make sense to me. Customers add and remove various hardware all the time so would the same issue happen if they wanted to add 10 more MR's and update the subscription?

You are correct with one caveat/assumption that you have something (like the GX50) serving addresses via DHCP on 192.168.5.x If not, clients will connect to WiFi, but not get assigned an IP address.

Yes. If you have APs with the same channel near each other that will cause problems/drops. You are not supposed to overlap same channels at all.

Let's see.. 1. Sure. Understand you may discover some 2.4 only gear that stops working like doorbells, or cameras, or whatever. 2. Yes 3. Never mind that, it is meaningless marketing 4. Totally depends on your environment and needs. If you are not going to get a proper survey done give it a try. It easy enough to change back. If you have too many AP's too close together you could have a lot of co-channel interference which is really noticeable and causes bad performance. In that case try changing tx power lower or even lowest setting possible. If you end up needing 2.4 then only enable on it on some, but not all AP's and use channels 1, 6 and 11 only.

I'm not sure I trust/believe the cable test result. Is it standard 568B wiring? I suppose a test could pass, but with a weird cable layout. If it works in the closet with a patch cord and not in the field at the end of the cable it seems it must be a wiring issue though. You are testing with the same patch cords and switch port to be certain? And this is just a single location having the issue or more/all?

Since it works for you and not them I suspect something in their environment. Maybe software firewall or anti-virus interfering?

Hmm "edit reply" does not work for me. Technically, you can mix in the same org, but would have MR-ENT on one network and MR-ADV on another.

Polycom has always had a weird priority for NTP. Check the docs for your phone model and firmware to see if it prioritizes NTP from DHCP or from its config file, etc. you may need provide server and also time offset from UTC.

You could try swapping a “bad” one with a known working one to find out if the trouble follows the MR or the cable/jack/switch port. That should rule out half the possibilities..

I suggest changing the monitor from 8.8.8.8 to the default gateways of the two internet providers. That is a better measure of loss and latency to the first hop. You wrote, "They cannot maintain a quality Zoom call." and also, "VOIP health shows at least 4.2 on the MOS over the last week. Not that it matters - they don't complain about their VOIP. They also don't use their phones much, either. Is the issue internet audio in meetings or events? Or do they use Zoom Phone? Or something else like video pixelating? I am not clear on what the exact trouble is you are trying to troubleshoot and fix. Have you worked with Zoom? They have some very good, detailed troubleshooting tools on their side and some that may need to be enabled by support.

Yep, it is still in flux for sure. MR44/46/70/76/78 are all showing 1 day this week though. All MS390 are over 180 days.. MX75 shows 1 day lead time also. Where are you seeing different or what region are you referring to? I am looking at U.S.

That would be your sales organization chart they are asking for 🙂 And I think you are far away from the correct forum. Are you already a Tier 1 Cisco partner? If not, your distributor holds the US Federal Authorization and you should talk to them. If you are Tier 1 you should have a Cisco account team to assist you with this. Good luck.

Do you really want/need two MXs? I would use one at the location with the best power and temperature conditions and then just extend the the secondary internet into WAN2 with the wireless bridge.

For AP tagging to disable specific SSIDs it looks like you can. They call it "limited broadcast" apparently: https://documentation.meraki.com/Go/Features/Meraki_Go_WiFi_Access_Point_Features#Limited_Broadcast Ethernet bridging, I don't think so.

I use Ekahau Pro AI with a spectrum analyzer. It can also do predictive surveys based on floor plans and building materials, etc. If you are a Cisco partner this used to be free on Cisco.com somewhere. I haven't looked for a while. https://www.yagnaiq.com/solutions/wifi-planner/

Not the whole org, but the partner portal lets you enter a zip code and returns the federal rep(s). CCW should provide the same and more based on customer name.
