I almost did that when scheduling firmware updates once, clicked on the 10:00 rather than scrolling down to the 22:00. Luckily I caught it quick enough to get it rescheduled without interruption.

There is a known bug that was resolved in 17.10.5 where this can happen if you have Web Cache enabled in the SD-WAN settings for your MX.

Reviewing our separate network monitoring, no Site to Site tunnel issues, all stayed up, we have 50+ locations. Haven't heard any reports of outages of issues impacting end-users, thankfully.

yeah, my NOC is pissed, 200+ tickets in 20 minutes, and no legit known issues. Not sure what broke on Meraki's backend, but that is really annoying on a Monday.

We have a bunch of MR devices that are plugged directly into ISP modems, does anyone know of a API command to query each device's public IP address? We have a new HR timeclock system that users can clock in on their phone, but need to be attached to our wifi to accept the punch. I initially just downloaded the CSV from the dashboard that included the public IP for each MR, but was hoping to build a script that would generate a list automatically that we could import any changes since many of these are on basic DSL with DHCP addresses from the ISP. Any thoughts?

Have you upgraded to the beta firmware for your MX? You do need to be on the 15.x firmware for this option to be available.

Yes, it can be set up to default to WAN1 and fail-over to the secondary connection. In the SD-WAN and Traffic Shaping configuration page of the MX you would set your Primary Uplink to WAN1 and set Load balancing to Disabled.

This is the longest I've ever been on hold waiting to talk to someone, but they really need to get a longer loop! It is seriously 15 seconds long of the same little beat. And it's not even cut very well. I can hear really bad recordings from my youth playing with track loops to write songs. PS. I've been so distracted by it trying to post this, it's played through another 10 times! Make it stop!

I got turned down due to space for this last session, so now have a calendar reminder on the 21st to start checking the registration page for when they open registration for the next session. I don't know how many people they are taking per class, but last time I tried to register Wednesday afternoon and didn't get in.

hi all! A bit about yourself & your work I am a network adminstrator for an ag company, covering around 70 small towns in Iowa. Your experience with Cisco Meraki My experience with Meraki goes back about 7 years, pre-Cisco! I've had small MR12 deployments, worked for a partner with multiple mixed deployments, and now slowly starting to push Meraki across many of our sites.
