Has anyone had a positive experience using Cisco AI Assistant? I've tested it with extremely basic prompts and haven't had much success. For example, I asked a question I already knew the answer to: "Do any switches have a power supply offline?"—using the exact phrasing from the dashboard alert, "Power Supply Offline." One of my switches had clearly lost a power supply, and I had received an alert confirming it. Yet the AI Assistant responded that all power supplies were online and functioning normally. If it can't handle such straightforward queries, it's hard to justify using it at all right now.

Has anyone else noted that the new Clients page (Network-wide > Clients) is clunky to the point you're barely able to use it? Mine is constantly freezing and requires me to reload the page. I don't have this problem when I revert to the old version.

Just finished setting up a little test lab n my office with an MS120-8FP switch and a CW9162I access point. Nothing too fancy, but it’s a solid setup for trying out configs, troubleshooting, and messing around with new features before they go live. Honestly love how quiet and compact this combo is.

Are you utilizing Combined Power? I ran into a similar issue, and in my case, it turned out to be a hardware problem with the MS not offering PoE one any ports regardless of configuration. I’d recommend opening a support ticket with Meraki — they were able to confirm the fault and issue an RMA.

I have already submitted a ticket to the manufacturer regarding this issue. I am posting this to see if anyone in the Meraki Community has encountered a similar problem in the past. I'm getting the following: "Unidirectional link (outbound fault)" on an uplink port for a wireless point to multipoint setup. It serves as the uplink to 2 other 8 Port MS devices downstream. UDLD is set to alert only so the port isn't being disabled, I was just curious if anyone has worked with a setup like this before and if they had any config tips they could offer.

Everyone, thank you for your responses thus far. I'm attaching a photo of what I'm directly referring to. When we had an AP negotiating at less than 1 Gbps, it would be sorted into the "alerting" filter. Now that no longer happens.

Until recently, when an access point was operating at less than 1Gbps, it would show up in the "Alerting" in the dashboard. For whatever reason, maybe after the most recent firmware update, if an access point is operating at 100 Mbps or less, it no longer slides into the alerting filter.

Hey @SeanGr, most MS mGbe ports are generally backwards compatible with older Ethernet standards. We've successfully utilized this compatibility to integrate some older equipment on our network.

I primarily use Safari to access the Meraki Dashboard, and I found an extension called "Nitefall" that works well with the dashboard. While a native Dark Mode would be ideal, this extension will suffice for now.

I have researched extensively, and I’m almost certain that there’s no way to modify the appearance of Meraki Dashboard. I am specifically looking to switch from default Light Mode to a Dark Mode.
