I agree with this approach. Generally it's not recommended to mix APs of different generations in the same coverage areas. Clients typically have roaming behavior mechanisms built in that prefer better/faster wireless protocols. An example of this can be seen in the Apple roaming doc (selection criteria section).   There's a risk that if you mix different generations of APs in the same area clients might prefer a "better" protocol (ie. Wi-Fi 7) instead of connecting to a better quality connection from an older generation AP.   From a pure dashboard perspective all of those models of Switches and APs can exist in the same combined network. ... I see the same behavior on switches (both MS and C9K/IOS-XE) when performing traceroute from a L3 SVI to an IP. Doing it to a FQDN works. I use a SFP-H10GB-CU1M to connect my MS355 to my MX95. Works fine. In general MXs accept a lot of brands of transceivers. One thought would be use API or bulk creation tool/csv upload to bring in all the MXs and place them into their individual networks. CSV could be as simple as list of serials and generic network names (ex. 1, 2, 3, etc).   Create templates for each of the firmware versions. You'd need Support to help set those old versions. Then bind all the networks to the first template to have them upgrade. Once done rebind to next firmware level template. Etc.   Example, three templates set to 3 different firmware versions. Support would need to set the older versions as those are no longer public facing/selectable.     Org firmware view with example networks 1, 2, 3 bound to each template.     My thought is bind all networks to template v.16 let them all upgrade. AP licenses aren't model specific. Switches and Security Appliances licenses are model specific (for the most part).   So, as long as you have enough wireless licenses to cover the AP quantity you should be fine.   It would be helpful to know more detail about your current license status and what license key(s) you have in hand that you've not applied yet. Ok, so I poked around the app some more. If you're in a non template bound network the settings > notifications section is visible. If you're in a template bound network it's not shown and looks like your screenshot. I too am on iOS 26 running the current mobile app version.   So, if you go to a non template bound network do you see notifications?
