Hi All
As I have a 'Greenfield Dashboard' to design I am hoping to garner some knowledge from people who have done this before.
The company I work for has 10 sites, in 5 countries. The plan over the next 12 months is to implement SD-WAN using Meraki MX devices and then over the longer term to implement MS, MR across all sites. As each site is its own financial silo, they will have their own license start and end dates.
Would it be better to have a single Organization, <Company Name>, with a separate network per site, <Location>, and a Subscription License per site. Or, would it be better to have a separate Organization per site with separate networks for MX devices, MS devices, etc., where the networks for the site share the same Subscription License.
Organization | Subscription License | Network |
<Company Name> | | |
| 01_Sub_Lic | Site_01 |
| 02_Sub_Lic | Site_02 |
| 03_Sub_Lic | Site_03 |
etc. | ... | ... |
Or
Organization | Subscription License | Network |
Site_01 | 01_Sub_Lic | Site_01_MX |
| | Site_01_MS |
| | Site_01_MR |
Site_02 | 02_Sub_Lic | Site_02_MX |
| | Site_02_MS |
| | Site_02_MR |
etc. | ... | ... |
Thanks in advance for any advice and other options you can share.
P.S. I would choose the first option as I like things simple and clean - but you may have a different experience.
