@Emedan Sm only shows the basic model of the device i.e. Macbook Air, yes it would be handy if it said MacBook Air 2019. All I can suggest is to use the make a wish button to submit a feature request.

Are both sets of devices using the same RF profile? Can you see anything in the event logs?

@RichardChen1 Yes if you select China as an example it will block all traffic to and from China.

@RichardChen1 Yes it blocks both ways as mentioned below. Geo-IP Based Firewalling The Layer 7 Firewall can also be used to block traffic based on the source country of inbound traffic or the destination country of outbound traffic. To do so, create a new Layer 7 Firewall rule and select Countries... from the Application drop-down. @SFascot If you can do so disable 2.4Ghz, we did this site wide and it solved a large amount of problems. Secondly How large is the space you are talking about roughly, we have a similar sized space that seats aroudn the same amount of people although we use a different wireless vendor. My plan for 2021 is to deploy wifi 6 into this space with the switch gear to support it. Are the current access points well place and either mounted vertically or horizontally and not on some wierd angle? Supporting that meant clients will mean a large amount of hardware and in a small space you are very likely to run into pollution and noise issues if you are not careful.

@-ray- What are you using the switch for? This is a high end piece of kit, its a bit like asking for an 8 track in a brand new Ferrari.

@Laurence5905 Your options are either set the device up from scratch with DEP and not restore any info or restore the data and not have the device in DEP. You won;t be able to access the missing certificate I wouldn't have thought.

@Laurence5905 Yes you can use configurator to setup a device from scratch however yes restoring from a backup will ovewrite settings such as DEP information. From what I understand there is no way around this. Restoring device backups doesn't really work with DEP enrolled devices because the backup contains the devices activation information.

@BFrança Not that I can see in the documentation. You can drag the slider along but it only adjusts by 60 min increments, and I am guessing that its set this way so that the dashboard isn't bogged down. I would say Meraki want to keep a fine balance between the devices uploading a useful amount of traffic information vs to much.

@Jordanw I have done a bit of searching and I cannot find any settings to specifiy a particular keyboard layout. Apple like to let users still have some control of a manager device. For example you can set the requirement to have a passcode however you cannot actually specify the password that is to be used.

Yes there is an order number column as mentioned by @BrechtSchamp although when i check my inventory page this column is not populated for any of my hardware..... In an ideal world you should be asset tagging your equipment and have some kind of database to manage your assets as well as show purchase information such are order numbers and invoice numbers.

RDP externally makes me very nervous, I always things VPN and if they doesn't work something such as team viewer or other remote software other than RDP.
