Group Policy Deployment Case

Hi Guys,

Here is my typical network:

MX100 (Static Routes to my L3 SVI) - MS250 (L3 SVI + L2 Access) - MS225 (L2 Access) + MR APs

I want to apply group policies using 802.1X, RADIUS Auth/Windows AD Authentication and assign to AD User groups.

The problem I am foreseeing is that I don't see the Group Policy option in either Active Directory Page or L3 interface on L3 switch page. If I have the Local VLAN (SVI) on MX i see the option.

I probably may be missing something, if you guys can help out that would be great.

So I spoke with a Meraki SE, they said:

As long as your AD server is configured, Meraki will be able to talk to it for logon events and the group policies will be applied.

I am yet to do a PoC on that. I am a bit suspicious, because I am NOT authenticating the user or requiring that Authenticate users per-VLAN.

Does anyone have a similar setup?
