We’re modernizing the Switching pages to make your day-to-day experience smoother, faster, and more intuitive. Over the next few weeks, these updates will roll out incrementally, and here’s what you can expect:
1. Improved performance and page load times
Navigating across key switching pages will feel snappier. We’ve optimized the backend, so pages load faster, even on large deployments. In an initial test, the Switch List and Details Pages are now loading faster than ever before.
2. Enhanced port diagram
We’ve revamped the port diagram for easier usability. Identifying ports and their status is now more visual and intuitive, helping you troubleshoot and manage devices more efficiently.
3. Color-blind assist mode compatibility
Accessibility matters. Our new color-blind assist mode ensures everyone can interpret port and device statuses without relying on color alone.
4. Time zone accuracy
The new pages will now reflect the correct time zone more consistently, making audits and troubleshooting simpler.
Rollout plan: We’ll start with 25% of shards and gradually expand until 100% of organizations have access over the next few weeks. This phased rollout helps us ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
