Bandwidth issues with customer

Hi guys is there any guide to troubleshooting internet bandwidth issues with Meraki

site has mx67 and a few ms120 switches

have a customer who’s Teams calls are intermittently dropping I suspect issue is related to how they have teams setup but will check that as well

is there a bandwidth health check app available in Meraki?

the site has very few working there with Covid etc

Would appreciate feedback on this?

There is a software licence you can buy for the MX called Meraki Insight that is designed to provide additional application visibility.

https://documentation.meraki.com/MI

Is anything else experiencing an issue - or only Microsoft Teams?

Thanks I dont believe they have Insight, typical end user description unfortunately

We do 365 as well but not for them, so it could be well how they have it setup

Is there anything to look out for within the dashboard everything looks fine

Problem is there is so few of them in and getting the right info

I have working on teams roll outs where we asked users to log everything time, internal\external who they were speaking to etc, its a bit different with this company

Hi @TippTop , on the MX Appliance Uplink page you can view your WAN Loss and Latency stats. Obviously the higher either is then voice quality will suffer.

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

Appreciate the posts from both of you

They look fine, is it only Teams calls that have an issue?  Have you checked that the bandwidth is set correctly on the WAN port to reflect the actual bandwidth (up and down)?

Yes its only Teams and another company do their 365

Whats best way to setup bandwidth on the WAN port?

What are the steps involved for that?

Thanks again 🙂
