Yes, it's a full Meraki solution, MX, Switch and AP's, there are 30 AP's but only 4 are affected by the "ethernet uplink speed degraded" error, the meassure I already made in one of them by the feature of measure in Meraki and gives me 41 mts. In my list of AP in the dashboard appears me like that, the one with alert are the AP's that are running to 100MB instead of 1Gbps.

The AP is running to 100MB instead 1Gbps, and I try that the AP works to 1Gbps, but if I forced the speed negotiation to 1Gbps the AP doesn't work. I already made all the suggestion that dashboard suggest me but the problem still persist. The suggerence are: - Run cable test. - Update link negotation. - Cycle port on switch.

In my case, the AP's works with a SSID which is public and other SSID that are only for employee, that's the reason because we can't turn off the 2.4GHZ band because customers who visit the bussines use old cel phones or devices. Also, I already use a RF Profile, it's the basic Indoor Profile, We have around 30 AP's but only 4 AP's has the speed of negotiation reduced, I already try to cycle the switch port, reboot the AP, run the cable test, and force the speed, but the issue still persist.

I asked because in my case, the port 3 of the switch is forced to 1Gbps, but if I forced the negotiation, the AP doesn't work, and if I configure the port as automatic negotiation, the AP work in deprecated speed to 100MB, and I want to recover the speed of 1Gbps.

Is there a way to configure the negotiation manually in an AP??? I have 4 AP that have speed degraded, so I configure the switch port to force the speed negotiation to 1Gbps, but when I do that, the AP doesn't work, then I want to know if there is a way to configure the ethernet port in the AP to force to negotiate to 1Gbps.

When I check my client list in the Meraki Dashboard, I see a lot of devices in my network but most of them are in dormant mode, so they are using one IP from my pool, my lease is configured to 4 hours. The network is working as a guest network, where people comes to the local, connect to the WiFi of the business and leave, that's the reason because the devices remains in dormant mode, but looks like that Meraki doesn't release this devices and reserved it so in consecuence the network is insufficient.

Tengo un tema en mi red WiFi, la cual es /24, cada fin de semana recibo la alerta de que el DHCP se ha quedado sin espacio para asignar una nueva IP, y al revisar mi tabla de clientes veo que hay muchos clientes en modo dormant que aún mantienen una IP y estos clientes saturan mi DHCP /24 y provoca que mi DHCP se este llenando. Mi pregunta es: De que forma puedo retirar los clientes en modo dormant para quitarles la IP que estan ocupando y asi ir evitando que esa alerta se este generando??? Aclarar que yo tengo configurado que el periodo de prestamo de IP es de 4 horas por cliente.

Quería consultarles que tan fiable es la medición de longitud de cable que hacen los switches Meraki hacia los AP Meraki. Ya que quisiera realizar un reporte anexando la longitud que tiene cada AP desde su puerto en el switch, pero no se que tan confiable sea la medición que realizan los equipos.

So, you reccomend me that the first step must be change the native vlan in the switch settings page, and the second step is change the native vlan on the MX??? Another question, if my network segment is 192.168.3.0/24, when I make the change, I have to change the network for example to the network segment 192.168.1.0/24 or can I still keep the same segment 192.168.3.0/24??? En mi trabajo tengo que cambiar la VLAN Nativa de una implementacion completa de Meraki. Mi duda es la siguiente, si la cambio en el MX, el siguiente paso sería tambien cambiarla en los switches??? O bastaría solo con cambiarla en el MX???

mmmm quizas puedes apoyarte de una API, ya averiguaste sobre eso??? Hay APIs que te pueden ayudar a sacar reporteria, ya que en ocasiones la GUI es muy limitada.

Creo que no se puede eso que quieres, ya que si te metes a inspeccionar las estadisticas que el summary report te genera solo te aparecen estas. Y esa sección en summary report es la unica parte en donde se pueden generar reportes y programarlos de la forma en la que tu quieres.
