Hi Community,

 

Below are the most important changes to our documentation between September 30th and November 10th:

 

Using the Cisco Meraki Device Local Status Page

Change: Added note stating that spare when directly connected to a LAN port on a Spare MX in active MX warm spare deployments will present the local status page of the Primary MX

 

MX Addressing and VLANs

Change: Added note explaining stored VLAN behavior when enabling VLANs.

 

3G/4G Cellular Failover with USB Modems

Change: Added note explaining how to pull USB ID via a Windows machine.

 

MX Uplink Settings

Change: Reworded notes on changing WAN IP from dashboard on single circuit MXs.

 

Cisco Meraki and Umbrella Integration - MR Advanced/Upgrade License

Change: Added note on free trial availability.

 

MS Switch Access Policies (802.1X)

Change: Added supported RADIUS attributes sent by MS switches to RADIUS.

 

SSID Tunneling and Layer 3 Roaming - VPN Concentration Configuration Guide

Change: Noted support for SSID concentration in MX routed mode.

 

Creating and Applying Group Policies

Change: Added additional support for MS

 

VPN Full-Tunnel Exclusion (Application and IP/URL Based Local Internet Breakout)

Change: Updated with Z1/Z3 support as well as firmware dependencies.

 

Configuring Network Alerts in Dashboard

Change: Added note stating that tags must be created to be able to alert for specific port(s).

 

Meraki and iOS 14 MAC Address Randomization

Change: New article

 

Meraki Insight Introduction   

Change: Added notes on licensing and physical MX support.

 

Summary Report Overview

Change: Added detail on security appliance utilization graph.

Change: Added link to license calculator

Low Power Mode  

Change: MR44 is the only Wifi6 AP that supports low-power mode.
