Meraki Systems Manager now supports Apple User Enrollment, a new device management method designed to protect end users’ privacy when using personal devices to access content and configurations provided by an employer or school.
Squarely aimed at organizations seeking to adopt Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) principles for device management, Apple User Enrollment ensures the separation of business and personal data at an OS platform level. This separation is facilitated by the use of Managed Apple IDs which enables dual personas on devices running iOS/iPadOS 13+ and macOS 10.15+. IT admins also have access to a limited subset of configuration options and restrictions when compared to standard device enrollment.
