Second generation MV cameras now support both the default and a new experimental object detection model. The default (original) model has been optimized to fit the majority of use cases. The experimental model may provide improved object detection in certain environments. When used on a camera with an MV Sense License applied, the analytics debug feature can be used to evaluate model performance. To switch between models, navigate to the settings tab, then MV Sense. Select the desired model from the “Object detection model” drop down.
The models available vary by camera - MV12 and MV22 series cameras contain an experimental body person detection model, MV72 series cameras have an experimental body and vehicle detection model, and the MV32 has an experimental person detection model that identifies heads.
