looking from a totally different perspective, what are the clients running Windows/Android/Apple Have you considered the wireless drivers, I would read any release notes for the wireless drivers If Windows clients, run this in command line to generate the wireless report , may help with troubleshooting the issue you are having netsh wlan show wlanreport

I would collect packet capture on the access point the device and connected to and using the TTL value of a packet you can determine where the packet is being dropped.

just an update on this, we have had 6E running past 6 weeks and so far no issues reported, laptops that support 6E connect to the 6Ghz, where as others connect to 5 Ghz

open plan office with maximum connections would be 100, and 10 AP's deployed. Single SSID will not be broadcasted on the 2.4 Ghz spectrum. All laptops wifi support 6E. These are settings in the radio profile 5 Ghz

We enabled AI-RRM with Flex Radio Assignment. We have noticed on multiple AP's (CW9166I) the 2.4Ghz radio are disabled. As an example on one of the floors in the office we have 15 access points (the office floor has a large footprint), AI RRM has decided to disable 2.4 Ghz radio on 13 access points and only enabled on 2 access points, however these access points are on opposite side of the floor thus we have dead spots across the office. The only way was to manually renable the 2.4 Ghz radio. My understanding was AI RRM was meant to improve wireless performace, and not create a problem as we have discovered. Anyone else noticed this issue. Just for clarity the issue is not on the 5Ghz or 6Ghz radio only 2.4 Ghz radio

Just did the Managing the RF Environment, helped me to improve wireless coverage in a high density office in centre of London using multiple RF profiles and fine tuning various settings like Transmit power and bitrate setting. Hope to apply the same settings to other offices around the UK to give the end user a good wireless experience and reduce performance issues.

MR56 running firmware MR 31.1.6 For information we only allow corporate laptops to connect to 5 Ghz other non coperate laptops (phones as an example) only connect on 2.4 Ghz Noticed this twice last week, one AP had a large number of devices connected to the 5Ghz radio but another AP close by did not have any 5Ghz connected, devices connected ok to both AP's on the 2.4Ghz Once I restarted the AP with no 5Ghz devices, 5Ghz clients were able to connect. Did not see this behaviour before. Just curious if others have noticed similair behaviour.

I upgraded all my Catalyst C9300 switches early this week to the latest stable version CS 17.2.1.1 On the dashboard when I go to the switch summary on the left hand side I get status update available When I click the Update Available I am taken to the first network in my organisation. I have scheduled another firmware upgrade to MS 350/225 switches and as above clicking the Update Available I get navigated to the first network in my organisation.

Access Points MR56 - only broadcast SSID on 5ghz Laptops Thinkpad running either AX201 or AX211 chipset running Windows 10/11 Looking in wireless issues we are having, and noticed the settings in driver for SMPS From my understanding this setting will only use a single antenna on the end point to reduce power consumption. Anyone disabled this setting and set it to No SMPS so all antennas are active and see improvements in wireless.
