Thank you for your time spent trouble shooting, and such a detailed write up. Out of interest do you see less aggressive roaming after your change or just a quicker roam with no impact?

We are having the same issue running 29.4.1 on MR56. As above mainly noticed by customers whilst on Teams calls that drop and take a long time to reconnect. This seems to correspond with a roam and re-authentication. We have seen improvements on customer experiences when changing the SSID from layer 3 to Bridge mode and enabling 802.1r. The excess frame loss messages are still seen in the logs but the customer experience seems to be improved. Given the number of people posting here I can't imagine that everyone is in layer 3 mode, so this might be coincidental, but it feels like it may have been beneficial for us so far. But it is still only a week or so since we started moving sites to this setup.

If you are whitelisting MAC addresses make sure that the MAC address that is shown on the camera (both on the label and the dashboard) is the one that is being seen when trying to connect. The dhcp server might be seeing a different MAC address. If you see dhcp failures check what MAC address it is coming from

Good afternoon all, I hope you're well Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere (or I've missed the blindingly obvious) but I wasn't able to find anything in the search. We currently have a splash page setup for guests (portal A) using sign on with Meraki Cloud authentication, which is authenticated by a username and password (username A). We are now looking at the possibility of setting up an additional portal (portal B) with a separate username/password combination (username B). Each portal will have it's own SSID which the splash page will be linked to. My question is how do I tie username A to portal A and username B to portal B. Or will any user/password combination that is authorised for SSID by able to sign into either portal? Realistically they are both just giving guest access so that wouldn't be the end of the world but it would be nice for it to seem as though they were differentiated. Any suggestions gratefully received Thanks
