In early access (organization -> early access) you can enable the VLAN profiles feature. In there you can create VLAN names for VLAN ID's. And subsequently you can use them on access ports and for native vlan in trunks. https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/VLAN_Profiles You can also define VLAN groups there which are comma lists of VLAN ID's for use on trunk allowed vlan lists.

Please note: C9K/MS390 runs single instance (0), single region (region1), and single revision (revision 1) MSTP. This is essentially Rapid Spanning-Tree. Please make sure for interoperability with any other non-Meraki platforms, to either run Rapid Spanning-tree or MSTP (not PVST or any iteration, nor any other vendor specific STP implementation). This will ensure that there are no issues with compatibility and functionality. https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Port_and_VLAN_Configuration/Configuring_Spanning_Tree_on_Meraki_Switches_(MS)

Hi Shlomoi, A combined Network is a mix of All of your Meraki equipment networks, MX, MS, MR, MV, MT and SM. Based on the image you provided I am assuming you are creating the SM network for the first time and in that case you will want to select the Network Drop down next to Combine hardware to EMM. Please let me know if that helps or if you are in fact attempting to split your SM network away from an existing network as that requires a number of different steps.

I believe this means the AP became unreachable for the client, which could be because the client is moving around or some other form of interference. There could also be a software bug on the AP or the client's nic drivers, it's hard to know without more data. Meraki Support may be able to quickly identify something if you give them a ring.

What type of devices are you wanting to manage? If they are iOS, MacOS or Windows device then the answer is no.

Two features you can adjust gradually without breaking too much are to increase the min rate and reduce the transmit power. But better let someone do a validation who knows how this works.

Thanks @GreenMan, so perhaps the 2025 timeline I was given referred to a subsequent native IOS-XE release, makes sense now.

Did you save the settings after changing the Subnet configurations? To WW point above, given that the subnetting from parent subnet is automatically done, you might have to change address on the inside. "The child subnet is automatically calculated from the parent subnet. This simplifies the need to manually calculate the size of each child subnet. Each MG will automatically assigned the first usable IP of that child subnet. This behavior is intended to not be configurable in order to make the MG assignments predictable." As an aside, if you are tying to open a port for inbound traffic, you would need a public static IP on the SIM, if you don't have that, CGNAT won't know what to do with inbound traffic since flowstate is only created outbound from the UE.

@alemabrahao is right. The demo environments provide platforms for various use cases and Capture The Flag is one of them. Your activity proctor will help you with the answer validation.

It's a normal behavior for Android phones. But you should ask whoever designed the system because it's only like that with Android.

@shlomoi different vendors use different HA methods. Meraki need at least two IPs, one for each device, on the WAN side.

You can configure it under Security & Sd-WAN -> firewall Under the heading "WAN appliance services", SNMP is listed with a box to enter the public IP's that the MX will respond to SNMP requests.

I had a similar issue towards an Azure VPN Gateway. Moving to IKEv1 solved the flapping.

I partly agree with his statement, but the way he wants to use it (I believe it is as a Gateway for a specific network) it won't work.

I'm not sure you are describing the address range properly. If you have 5.29.128.0/28 from the ISP and they are using 5.29.128.1 on their equipment as the gateway then it is part of the /28 network. You can use 5.29.128.2 as the interface IP on the MX, but you would be best using a /28 subnet. You can then use the other IP addresses in the range via 1:1 NAT as @ww suggests.

You might need to open a support ticket. If you have 5Ghz enabled something is wrong because that AP isn't picking a channel or anything. How is the device powered?
