Hello to all of you. When my customer tried to connect to SSID_corp, he was unable to obtain an IP. Perhaps the reason is for the vlan 1 which has IP address 192.168.5.2.12, is in vlan 1 he gest APIPA IP 169 .The MX is configured to pass to the Mraki switch as follows: maybe it ies better to put the port like drop untuget traffic? or change the vlan 1 for other SW AP On the other hand, the PC connected to the vlan 1 works well. How might I have received this error in some APs? I have the DHCP in another Fw that I changed recently. How it is possibel i recived this error this DHCP it is only for meraki AP I put a fix IP on the FW for this AP i rebooting the AP, I experienced the same issue.

Hello This range is theoretically configured by the NPS for the Meraki AP. With this IP range, the FW MGMNT VLAN 5 10.129.5.1 / 255.0.255.255 DHCP RANGE 10.129.5.2-254 I'm not sure how it operates. I believe that the radius setup should have the following range. how is possible are there in green ? In NPS there is a /25 Maybe i will have to change in the NPS to /24

Hello, Phillis Yes, I do realize that. Maybe I'm not understanding, but the IP address of the ACCES point seems to be connected via Raius when you enter the radius NPS, doesn't it? I am unable to see the address in the Radisu NPS. VLAN 5 10.129.5.1 / 255.0.255.255 This is the firewall that has the DHCP setup. The configuration for in the NPS radius is 10.129.5.128/25. The hole range 24 is the APS's ip. i dont know if i explain weell , but i cant understand

Why some APps are in orange with the Radius issue is beyond me. they are all inside the range of 2-127, they are not within the range is the NPS range radius is 10.129.5.128/25. All of them AP´s would have in orange colour . isent it?

Hello everyone. I'm not sure how to proceed in this situation. Currently, some APs are connected via radius ( i belive so is conecting via radius) to the FW's DHCP server. Those APs are connected via DHCP over an FW. However, I am observing some things that I don't comprehend or know how they operate. If I looked at the NPS, I couldn't tell if the setup was setup well. I show to your RAIUS SETUP FOR AP´S The IP is 10.129.5.128/25 FW IP ADDRESS VLAN 5 10.129.5.1/255.255.255.0 How is it possible that the APS is operational? there is no set up radius for the port that I am seeing, perhaps it is not configured via radius. it is possible the AP´s working no via radius ? I am seeing a interface swtich setup i cant see nothing radisu set up interface GigabitEthernet1/0/2 AP WiFi switchport trunk native vlan 5 switchport trunk allowed vlan 5,20,40 switchport mode trunk spanning-tree portfast end but in somes APs i am able to see radius failure FOr other hand I can see some AP´s are in green. I need to migrate the Meraki MX100 to the MX105. Which is the best strategy? I'm not sure. Clone the network or incorporate those MX 105 into the existing network There are 16 switches and 96 access points in the existing network. I think the best course of action is to integrate those MX105 into the existing network, isn't that right? I have another query. The MX is currently using a static IP. Since I don't have access to the new MX105, what would be the best way to do it ?

Hello @alemabrahao , thank you, however I'm not sure why mode NAT isn't working. Could you perhaps explain in brief so that I understand? It is not possible to perform both mobile and scanner conecting of the same SSD guest in nad mode.? The smartphone has an APP scanner to find the scan from the phone, What functions well in this environment any solution?

Hello I'm having an issue with a scanner. The guest's meraki DHCP does not have a vlan tag mode. mode nat The customer wishes to connect your mobile device to the same guest's SSID in the lift. he is attepingg via the app on your phone, but the app cannot locate the scanerr. I activate the LAN firewall and allos lan conexion . However, it's possible that the issue is with the NAT Meraki mode and this app's internet connectivity. I'm not sure if it will be the problem or not, but if it is, what do you think the solution would be? Is it possible that a port forwarding solution was created? any ideas

One additional thing The customer has two internet lines, WAN1 main with getting DNS company and the other line WAN 2 getting 8.8.8.8. What would happen if I had to force to exit the wan2 the traffic? There will be a disconnect in the aps. The purpose is to test DNS to see if there are any problems.
