Any news? in the meantime, i have noticed that the symbolic devices (i.e. the pictures that are supposed to represent the switch) look kind of “cheap”. before, it was somehow more professional

Oh wow, I love the Meraki community. It's a great place with lots of great people and help is just a click away. Of course you could always ask the support (which is at the top of my satisfaction ranking), but the experience and helpfulness is in no way inferior to the support. We had a lot of questions at the beginning of our Meraki journey, one that sticks in my mind was about the comparison between two switch models. The documentation was still somewhat incomplete (at the time) and I asked the question here in the community. Help came immediately from all sides and many questions were quickly clarified. At some point I received the exact information from our Cisco AM and was able to complete the post in the community (here). It's just nice to know that you exist here as a community where you can ask questions, discuss with like-minded people but also think about/discuss new features. It's a great place that I'm sure many other manufacturers are jealous of

Same here. had a very annoying problem with APs (MR) that somehow got stuck in a VLAN after an internet connection failure and would no longer connect to the cloud. There was also a SecureConnect error. I had this at several locations....very strange. But I had the same problem with the questionable error messages as you. somehow it looked different than usual? Has anyone from the deveolpment tested a beta "feature"? 🙂

You mean which plattform? Wanted to buy only the ECMS2 part, because ECMS1 not really good. Just found the CMNE-F learning, at it seems to be much better that the paid ECMS course with nearly the same content.

Hi, I am still confused about the changelog entry of the current agent version 4.2.2. It says the following: [Update] Removed support for Active Directory enrollment authentication (local unencrypted LDAP proxy). Does this mean that the connection to the AD no longer works? I had opened a ticket and was told that LDAPS (secure) would work. On my test client, however, I don't see a single request going out to the domain controller in Wireshark.

Hello, is there any news or a date on a roadmap when IPv6 will be implemented for meshed APs? It is very difficult to explain to a customer why a wired AP works fine and a meshed AP is a nightmare because resolved hostnames cannot be reached with IPv6.

No, the RADIUS is located in a different network, it's also a different network class. MR29.7.1 is the latest version in which it works as expected, either with DHCP or static IPs on the Mgmt and AMI interface.

After more testing it seems the AP uses somtimes both interfaces.....red marked is the MGMT and green marked is the AMI interface. What the hell I'am doing wrong? 😞

After massive testing and tickets it seems this feature to be broken. Followed the advice to use DHCP at the AMI instead of static. Did factory resets but at the end, a wireshark of the attached switch port still shows the RADIUS packets to flow with the Mgmt-IP instead of the AMI-IP. I'm really at the end of my tether, I can't update the customer's APs and am stuck in version 28.x. Great.

Any news here? Testing a simple mesh topologie and the clients won't be able to use IPv6 over the mesh AP, while Root AP works like a charm.
