As a standard, I tend to block all unknown DHCP servers in Switching>DHCP Servers and ARP by whitelisting the MAC of the MX (or HA MAC).

I spent ages trying to get the back plate off until I realised that you have to take the front dome off and then there are some Torx screws that need to be undone which release the back plate.

You have to zoom right until the cone appears - you can then point it in the direction you want. Does my head in at times 🙂

My Meraki IDPS/IPS (ruleset: security) mistakenly blocked my internal DICOM traffics over VPN as a threat. I didn't notice them in the MX Events because the table is showing mismatched hostnames and IP addresses. I have to go into details under the hostname to identify the actual device which is being blocked.

I believe the correct dst FQDN for Cloud Archive is dependant on region which is why the 'Firewall Info" page says ANY. In reality there is an FQDN for each region, e.g. cloud-archive-upload.euc.vision.meraki.com cloud-archive-upload.apa.vision.meraki.com

On the delay, it would also be dependent on the method of streaming (direct LAN versus cloud-proxy) that is in use, as HLS cloud-proxy streaming via the browser is acknowledged to have delays similar to those stated. Alternatively, a review of external RTSP streaming could be good to test, to see if that makes any difference in the viewing experience.

The issue I have with the new layout is if you edit a port that is a member of an LACP group it doesn't tell you what ports are in the AGGR/n nor the aggregate speed (which you can see on the old version)

Haha, given that some of my cameras cover car parks that's an issue. I will keep an eye open to see if I can disprove that theory when it next rains. If you click on the "Show Objects" when going to the footage from a motion alert email it does highlight the odd car as an object in motion when it most definitely isn't!

Can you not Deny at Layer 7 as below: And add L3 Deny rules for teamviewer.com etc provided the MX has seen the DNS lookup, or if using internal DNS setup a teamviewer.com domain and resolve to 127.0.0.1 ??

If your external IP is changing the other thing to watch out for is if you communicate with any 3rd parties that may have whitelisted your current IP. I had this issue where we SFTP data to a third party and I hab to get them to update their firewall for our new IP address.
