One caveat though. You cannot implement cert-based auth alone. You have to use cert + user creds on Meraki.

Correct, you can still use and create regular org administrators. It's actually recommended to have at least 1 org admin outside of SSO in case of any SSO issues.

I've actually tested this and it does actually perform NAT translation over ALL Meraki and Non-Meraki VPNs. The only problem is you cannot NAT per VPN; it's all or none. In our case, we needed 1 3rd party VPN NAT'ed, but not the other, so it did not work out in our case.

Yeah the bigger problem is that ever since they intro'ed that field now Chrome tries to autofill my Meraki username password. If I don't catch it the PSK changes and breaks my VPN. FIX THIS. YOU STATE CHROME IS THE PREFERRED BROWSER.

That is correct, any subnet in AutoVPN must be included in 3rd-party IPSEC VPN tunnel for Phase 2 to be successful.

This whole issue is a joke at this point. I've lost all respect for Meraki at this point when it comes to major features missing. IPv6, SSLVPN, proper IPSEC /NAT support, they don't care; their indifference and wordplay games simply shows it. I don't even know why I stick up for Meraki at this point. It's just rediculous the smoke and mirrors, and well as the ultimately unfulfilled promises that just dissapoint me more than anything. Time to take a look around the vendor market at this point, to be honest.

You don't need an explicit route for VPN on ASA. The access list and crypto map take care of that when properly configured. You do need to setup an access list that permits VPN traffic inbound/outbound, or whitelist all VPN traffic. You can do so on ASDM -- this is the option on the site-to-site vpn tab labeled "Bypass interface access lists for inbound VPN sessions".

Hi all, I have a client that loves the MX67C cellular failover. We currently have most sites deployed with MX65's. Is there any major differences in cellular failover between the two models? Of course for the 65's a USB Modem is required. Any recommendations on best USB modem model for T-mobile and MX65 would be appreciated, as well. Thanks!

Similar to my previous post RE: IPv6 (https://community.meraki.com/t5/Security-SD-WAN/IPv6-MX-Implementation-Partner-Discussion-Thread/m-p/53739#M13483), we as partners need to continue to hold Meraki accountable to features available in all other firewalls other than Meraki MX. We've been asking for SSLVPN for years now, with no real answers from Meraki. Partners, please express your needs for SSLVPN in this thread.

This is not entirely true. 1:1 NAT outbound traffic will use IP set in 1:1 NAT. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/NAT_and_Port_Forwarding/Configuring_1%3A1_NAT However in this situation you would be correct. OP would need to convert to 1:1 NAT.

The route must be present on your MX67 and then you need to go to Security & SD-WAN -> Site-to-Site VPN, select "Yes" for "Use VPN" for the given route.

As a network admin for an MSP, I have about 5-6 techs working underneath me and around 45 organizations currently in my company's Meraki dashboard. Sometimes one of my techs will get locked out of the dashboard. Apparently the way this works (my theory, please correct me if I'm wrong) is the account will get locked out under that last organization accessed. This becomes a pain because if the tech does not remember the last org they accessed I have to go to Administrators section org by org in order to find which one the tech locked themselves out on. I'm considering disabling Account lockout because this is a huge pain and waste of time. Does anyone else have any other methods for account lockout "unlock" in a more efficient manner (maybe thru API)?

Sure, stack the 2 switches using stacking cables, then set up LAG ports with 1 member port on each switch. Configure LAG on the downstream switches and connect a member port to each member port on each switch. Currently operating this way with 2xMS425-16's.

I can confirm Meraki will enable IKEv2 per MX on v15.x firmware via support call. A couple interesting notes: -When you switch MX to IKEv2 you no longer have ability to do IKEv1 tunnels (all or nothing) -Despite Site-to-Site VPN settings being org-wide, this is currently done per MX (i.e. if you enable IKEv2 on one MX but have IKEv1 tunnels on other MX's in same org, they will NOT be affected).

Unfortunately, that is NOT good news, that is the same non-news we as Meraki partners have had for the past 2 years. Same thing as with a proper Sslvpn client (Anyconnect integration) Please do not try to sugar coat this for Meraki. The fact is they are failing to keep up with industry standards and no one, especially clients, should be making excuses for their failure to deliver an enterprise firewall solution.

You need 3 public IPs - 1 for each firewall, and 1 for Virtual IP to share between the stack should one firewall go down. Technically you only need 2 public IPs, but the third minimizes failover and downtime. A /29 from each ISP would give you what you need.
