What I mentioned was the RMA hardware replacement and not a free refresh. They always replace our defective MR33 units with MR36 after the EOL.

Our MR33 units will have an End-of-Support by July 21, 2026, will they still work? I know that this is the last date that Cisco Meraki will provide technical support and software/security updates for the MR33. But the question is, will they still work normally, given that our Co-termination license is still due by November 2026? Will Cisco still provide the upgraded (MR36) hardware replacement units? I have already spoken to our local Cisco Reseller, but their answer is still not clear. They are also waiting for the official CISCO reply.

In Meraki WiFi, is there a way to show a URL once the device has connected to the wireless network, something like a NAC function? Like showing a reminder or advertisement after successfully connecting to the SSID? Every time you disconnect and reconnect to the network, it will show this URL/Ads. Not the "Click Through" option since we are already using the "Sign-on with LDAP" option. If Meraki can't do this, what are my options for third-party apps that can do this?

I think the random MAC address in the SSID privacy options of devices is the one affecting this issue. IOS devices are enabled by default and change every 2 weeks. https://support.apple.com/en-us/102509 https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254895025?sortBy=rank

We are using Meraki's local DHCP. Most of these APs with lots of zero IP's are installed in common hallways where a lot of clients just pass by. I'm thinking maybe due to their fast movement, since they just passed by, they were not given any IP addresses.

Wow, good for you. We still have around 300 plus MR33's in our campus, the rest are MR44 and MR56. We still have not decided to disable the 2.4Ghz since there are still some legacy devices that may need them. I have just adjusted the radio profiles to lower power settings on the 2.4Ghz to keep the congestion and latency lower.

Any configuration settings on the AP that may possibly affect the Zoom access or call quality? We are having problems with Zoom calls. But when using Google Meet, there is no problem. We have multiple ISPs and traced both Zoom and Gmeet go out on the same ISP, just to rule them out of the picture. Any possible tweaks that we can do to fix this?

What is the possible cause of this 0.0.0.0 IP address? When I try to check these devices, they have already transferred to another AP. We also have scenarios where they seem to degrade the internet connection on the current access point, especially when some are using Zoom calls. We found some faulty APs in this scenario and resolved them by rebooting. Most of these affected APs are those near the hallways where a lot of users pass by. I have tried to lower the power of these APs from 30max to just 20db in 2.4Ghz radio, and am still observing if it will be solved. This is a campus setup, so we have lots of users roaming around on our 800+ APs.
