Hmmm, ignore that! You could once do that. what about creating a new Network, move an AP into it and upgrade the firmware from there?

Hi @Noah014 In the meraki dashboard, if you go to the access point in question under "wireless" and scroll to the bottom of the access point page, you can select to update that single AP's firmware.

Hi @Noah014 , why don’t you create a test Network and place one of your APs in for such testing. This way you can be confident that you’ve done your due diligence before upgrading your production environment.

Hi @HBWaninara Quickest way to resolve is to take a packet capture on the MX whilst trying to Vpn in. You should then see a step by step setup of the vpn and where it’s failing.

That is quite choppy. Try: - replacing cable between MX and ISP - ensure MX is on latest stable firmware - confirm that your MX WAN IP details are correct If you’re happy and confident with the above push back to the ISP

There’s nothing in the datasheets that state otherwise. As it’s for a trial won’t your Meraki AM loan the eqpt to the customer so you can verify?

Yes and no. Without the second stack cable you don’t have a fully formed stack. If that cable fails you’ve lost the stack.

Hi @bjincosta Make a note of the MXs uplink IP details and then factory reset the device. Hold the reset button for approx 15-20 seconds. The device will reboot. Connect your machine to the MX, you’ll be assigned an IP via a dhcp. Then browse to Mx.meraki.com. You’ll be asked for a username and password. The username is the device serial, no password required. Re-assign the device IP details and then enable the secondary WAN port.

Hi @bjincosta. Do you have access to the Meraki Dashboard and Network for which the MX is assigned? If so you can source the devices IP address from there.

Seems like an odd one! We have numerous MX’s deployed all blocking such countries as India etc. Not one is blocking google DNS. Why not switch the external DNS over to Cisco Umbrella: 208.67. 222.222. 208.67. 220.220.

Hi @soundman353 @As @CptnCrnch says try running a packet capture on the MX100 outbound interface. Run the output through Wireshark and it should give you a good idea of what’s going on.

I get different views for different customers but it’s only showing Latency graphs in the networks where devices are experiencing latency issues. Maybe your wifi network is clean so hence nothing to show
