Hi @ammahend , Did you mean Meraki AP solution has no capability or features to be able not to see or share the password of SSID or WiFI once you connect to WLAN? But on the other brand I think they have because I experience that. But I don't think if they used other 3rd party Application or solutions. Thanks

Hi @cmr , Ah I see, anyway thank you for the information regarding upgrade. Then for your question why our client do that, because they have own standard with regards upgrading firmware, they always want behind -2 on the latest firmware.

Hi @cmr , We tried to reschedule and decline the latest version of firmware. my question is what will happened if we always decline or reschedule the firmware upgrade going to stable version? Is there will be forcing event on upgrading the version coming from meraki dashboard itself? Thank you

Hi, I have a client that has MR, they have issue on upgrade. On the Firmware upgrade the stable release is 30.7 but after finished the upgrade the latest version is 30.6. how come the latest version comes with that? And what will happen if they still decline the upgrade firmware even in the latest firmware version. Thank you

Hi Sir Alemabrahao, Thank you for your help, but I already saw that datasheet but in this documents the MPLS was in LAN side. What if I put MPLS in WAN uplink as failover if WAN 1 uplink for internet fail the WAN 2 with MPLS line take over? how about my internet connection? Is it same process with IP VPN? Hi Alemabrahao, We will try your advise but I think we need to add a layer 2 switch in between of MX105 and core switch since we don't have any authority to change that configuration from Core switch. One more question, is MS switch have port mac address in every LAN port?. I don't see any documentation for that information. Thank you in advance if you share to me those information.

I want to verify if these setup in meraki MX is feasible. On core switch the IT gave us 2 port connection for MX105 LAN port. Core switch Port1= Switchport mode access vlan 852, Port2=Switchport mode access vlan 851. And for the MX105 we tries different configure TRUNK and ACCESS, NATIVE VLAN 1 or VLAN 852 nad 851. But still we can reach the firewall IP address. In core switch there's no SVI only Layer 2. Any one can help me what is the best config for MX if Access mode on core switch only allowed?

On our setup the two LAN port of MX which is connected to the LAN port of switch received same mac address although they configured with different VLANs, is it normal? To make it short the LAN port of MX has no individual mac address? Thanks.

Hi Everyone, I have an ongoing deployment from US and we are using MX105 for SDWAN purposes. In these projet we have a limited view on the configuration except on our own Meraki MX. They give us VLAN and IP address assigned to be able to connect on their network and that's the challenge. The problem we encountered was we cannot ping the firewall IP address. Firewall ------ Switch----Switch----------- 10.136.2.178 VLAN 10 MX 10.136.2.177 layer 2 | No SVI | ---------- 10.60.4.2 VLAN 20 105 10.60.4.4 According to US Engineer the port of Switch going to MX was configured As Access mode for their respective port VLANs. For MX configuration we all knew that the MX is not capable in STP therefore we configure the port as Trunk or Access and specify the VLAN mentioned above to avoid loop. We tried everything on the MX configuration to reach the Firewall IP but we can't. And please help me to understand why the Switch recieved same Mac address from MX and received RSTP in packet captured? Thanks

Hi actually they can connect but no internet connection after 24hours. I have a question since I'm using captive portal for splash page. how do I check if the radius server or captive portal is connected to the AP? Because I noticed even I cannot ping the server I was able to connect the AP for the first time.

Hi, I have concerns on my client using MR76 wireless. On there setup they using captive portal for the splash page and radius server for authentication. Although they can connect to the AP for 1 hour limit per day. After 24 hours they cannot able to reconnect again. Thank you

Hi Everyone, I have a concerns with Meraki MX security rules. I used NAT configuration and I allowed some Port 80, 443 etc which are needed to inbound. So since I allowed only specific IP outside why in alert centre continuously send us an alert notification. And how I assured the other IP outside which trying to penetrate in our network not traverse in my local LAN network. Thank you.
