I've seen this mentioned a lot on macOS forums. It causes issues with other vendors gear as well. Very annoying, we've seen it first hand at our clients sites

I mean in terms of doing the NAT etc. If you have the modem in Bridge mode handing over a WAN IP to the MX then you have lightened the load as much as you can for the box

Hi SCC, Are you sure? We have used an SFP to RJ-45 adapter in a similar fashion break out of a Cisco router into the back of an MX64 when we're separating out of the ISP's EDD. Perhaps the model linked requires SFP at both end but you can turn SFP to Base-T

Thats interesting.... We've been battling a few MX67's that don't like their cellular connection. We've done a dance, told them a story. Powered them up and down and they don't want to play ball.... Hopefully not an RMA situ!

Hello Will your ISP provide you a Base-T connection? You could use an SFP to Base-T transceiver so the connection through to the MX is Base-T As an example this little number
