Hello, We've seen a big increase in the request for X model switches from our Mac clients, with the iMac Pro and Mac Mini now coming with 10Gig Copper I think this trend will continue. I've never implemented it on Meraki switches but have implemented and seen it done before on other kit. I can't see why it wouldn't work if the vendor is confirming compatibility. As people have said - you must use VLAN's   There is no equivalent of port mirroring or subnet shields in Meraki world.    But for you usage, you can put switches on each port and you'll be fine 🙂 ... View more

I guess its going to depend on your audience.    One of my team sat CMNO / ECMS1 and found it helpful, but they were coming into the area without a background using Meraki.    I can see they are moving in the right direction with training, ECMS2 and the next certification they mentioned following that. Hi @NJacobe   Your premise is correct - you would be able to balance and utilise the bandwidth across both lines.    However as @jdsilva pointed out, you will be prevented by the throughput available on the MX100 of approx 650 - 750 Mbps depending on your configuration.    Its worth noting you have a few options with the load balancing, you can use both lines together or you can use one as a failover, which may be more suitable given the hardware you have.   To ensure balancing and failover work correctly its important to set the line speeds in SD-WAN & Traffic Shaping. Very true, we've seen our fair few as well. Issues with systems not working as per the documentation etc. But support have always been helpful and rewritten the documentation or changed features etc Just surprised if your overall impression of them was negative thats all ... View more
