That would normally indicate you don't have full organization permission and only network.

Or it is also possible the geolocation database has some incorrect information too. Either way, if you try to lock your network down to US and Canada traffic only you will need to be prepared to start whitelisting things.

Take a closer look at the traffic (packet capture) when you load a FB page. You will see it loads content from dozens if not hundreds of sites and many of them may be outside the US.

Bingo. That will show max concurrent although you will have to add the 2.4 and 5 users together per AP.

summary report is the better place you can see them. You can choose clients per day/week, etc. EDIT: This is not exactly what you asked I realize now. I don't think you can see the peak number of clients recorded anywhere.

map & floor plans shows clients for the past day. I feel like I have seen it somewhere else too.

I would consider getting a real cable tester on some of those cables (like a Fluke). CRC errors are almost always cable issue in my experience and the Meraki cable test is only very basic and would not show electrical interference issues I don't think. Is there any heavy machinery or equipment that could interfere? Good luck and let us know what you find out.

I don't see why not. The only consideration might be to make sure you select a proper, heavy gauge and not a cheap cable from a questionable source.

The only place you might see it would be under wireless > splash logins, but I think that is only for Google authentication. I see user names there for some education customers that use Google authentication for wireless access.

Meraki does not collect anything it just directs users to a Facebook page as far as I understand.

You can create multiple networks within an organization. That is what you want to do. Then it is just a few clicks to enable site to site VPN.

I have a customer with MX400's and it was a couple years ago, but I recall they reported a beeping sound from one and it turned out a PSU had failed. We simply got an RMA through support and the end customer swapped the power supply himself. I am a little unclear exactly what you are asking but yes, the power supplies are modular and can be swapped. I don't recall if it was a hot swap or if support advised to shut down first though. This reminds me of the fact that there was no event log or email alert for the PSU failure event. We would have never known if someone had not heard it beeping and investigated.

I’ve been bit by this too, but honestly I think it is fairly uncommon to not be able to clear or reboot the upstream device. At least in my experience. I’ll still make a wish for you though 🙂

How does channel utilization and RF spectrum look? Maybe you are having interference causing this.

Do you want to share what your settings are? I can just guess some things like trying to disable band steering and maybe 802.11r if you turned it on. You can also call Meraki support and see what they think.

It may not take effect immediately on current network flows/sessions. If you think the rule is correct and applied to the client I would try rebooting the machine or refresh network settings and test again. You might try blocking tcp 53 also.

Yeah, I think those are pre-standard POE. Not sure if there is anyway to adapt them except a pre-standard POE adapter or power supply?

What model phones? MX65 probably doesn't support old POE method.
