Is your hub a routed mode location with a default route to the lan side? Or is your hub a one armed concentrator?

If the vlan is just layer2 on the other switches, and you trunk that vlan between the L2 switch and the Switch that has the L3interface+forwarder then you dont need to do anything on the other switches

Not sure if this still a thing. But back in days you needed to config this on cisco switches to allow 3rd party sfp's :service unsupported-transceiver

You are running routed mode bgp? I dont think you can do this . What you can do it set on your layer3 switch a default route with route tracking

107.2 had the same, while other version was .11 at some point It would be better if you could set yourself a default/target version for the org. Is the MR running nat mode or bridge mode? Also check the firewall settings of the MR, it can block traffic using L2 clients isolation or L3 rules

Timeout of firewall session is like 10 minutes. If this traffic keeps flowing it wont work. Are you able to reboot the mx and test again?

Did you before had a sfp present in a wan slot? Behavior can be a bit strange on this device. On a access port u can use 1 native and 1 tagged(voice) vlan If you want more vlans you need to configure a trunk port https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Port_and_VLAN_Configuration/Switch_Ports#Port_configuration

5Gbit is a lot, note that Mx100 can do around 750Mbit. For gaming itself you dont need much speed, but the updates are huge these days.

You could use per user bandwidth limit below the max capacity of the line. Whats a 5 gig? 5G mobile? 5 Gbit fiber?
