It says: " Ignore: This option will appear as selected if there is a newer firmware version available but nothing is currently scheduled. If an upgrade is later scheduled but was subsequently canceled (either from the Organization > Firmware Upgrades page or by Support), the Ignore option will be selected again. Selecting this option will not prevent future upgrades from being scheduled by Meraki." Is this a typo? I imagine if i select the "ignore" button, then a firmware upgrade should NOT be pushed/scheduled automatically to the network. We do not want Meraki to automatically change our network's software!

Can someone please confirm if MS120 will support the following functionality despite being the cheapest switch from Meraki portfolio: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Packet_Capture_Overview I have a hunch that this feature is not available on low end platforms!

Thanks but how exactly do you manage & configure it via Meraki dashboard? What is the process? I am not interested in monitored but completely managing a greenfield switch from scratch in Meraki dashboard!

Since now monitoring of Catalyst switches managed by DNAC with a valid subscription via Meraki dashboard is possible, simultaneously then i have a question: Can a CW9166i-US managed via C9800 & DNAC, be only monitored via Meraki dashboard simultaneously, without conversion into Meraki?

Cisco talked about the management choice between Meraki & DNAC, but shows separate part numbers on the data sheet: CW9166I-x: Cisco Catalyst 9166 Series Regulatory domains: (x = regulatory domain) CW9166I-MR: Cisco Catalyst 9166 Series, w/Meraki Cloud-managed version using Meraki Dashboard But then it says in the datasheet: "Cisco Catalyst 9164 Series Access Points can be managed either on-premises with Catalyst 9800 Wireless Lan Controllers (WLC) or cloud-managed through the Meraki dashboard. Customers have the flexibility to deploy these access points in one persona and shift to a different persona in the future." So will it be a single SKU that can be moved around Meraki & DNAC or separate SKUs which cannot be converted among the two?

Meraki MTs have following in datasheet: "Trust Anchor module (TAm) securely authenticates the device and encrypts all communication". But its missing in the APs datasheet. TAm features supply chain device security protection. Is it also in the MR APs?

Can Meraki APs themselves be authenticated with a RADIUS server using any EAP method e.g. EAP-TLS or PEAP? Or this question does not exist with Meraki since each AP is automagically authenticated due to being in the correct org in Meraki dashboard?

Is there a maximum number of networks in an org? "Meraki’s cloud-based architecture makes it an ideal choice for distributed, multi-site systems of networks, with administrators able to manage up to 1,000 networks from a single web browser using Dashboard." This is from a blog in 2010. Not sure about the current limit.

If Meraki cloud connectivity goes down, not due to the internet but some other cloud issue. Will the site to site tunnels still stay up forever? Or will they timeout after sometime and request Meraki cloud reachability to re-key them selves? It says the below in the doc: https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Site-to-site_VPN/Meraki_Auto_VPN_-_Configuration_and_Troubleshooting "Once the information is shared with the MX about its peers, a VPN tunnel is formed MX to MX. The Meraki cloud already knows the subnet information for each MX, and now the IP addresses to use for tunnel creation. The cloud pushes a key to the MXs in their configuration which is used to establish an AES encrypted IPsec-like tunnel." Hence its not clear from the documentation!

Thanks for the link but it does not clarify if it puts the rogue location on the heat map! It does tell at what RSSI each AP sees the rogue but i am looking for a physical location via triangulation.

It says: "Air Marshal information such as the location of rogue and other SSIDs on the LAN is more accurately depicted." On the doc: https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Placing_Devices_on_the_Map_in_Dashboard But i do not see rogue location in heat map. If subscription & grace period expires, does it mean my MR APs will: 1. Stop beaconing SSID 2. They will beacon SSIDs but stop bridging traffic 3. They will beacon SSIDs, bridge traffic, but just the cloud management will be blocked along with cloud features e.g. radio management. I got an email saying: "If you choose not to renew, your Meraki systems will cease to provide network access." I am not sure how to comprehend what will stop for these APs in question.

Agreed upon that but i need to know the limitation of the AP hardware itself. Has it been changed? Since previously we have been able to create 16 SSIDs on each AP!

Looks like the number of SSIDs that can be created on 6E APs is lesser. e.g. Cisco has published 8. What is the limit for MR57, Meraki's WiFi6E AP?
