MAC and IP addresses are changing in meraki for mobile
Hi All.
MAC and IP addresses are changing in meraki for mobile devices whenever any user is connecting again to the network even if IP address is set to be "fixed". Kindly suggest.

Go to wifi/ssid settings on the mobile. There set mac from: "random mac" to "phone/device mac"

Hi @ww
Thanks for writing.
I implemented that as you suggested. But now if the user is changing SSID , then this setting automatically changes to "Randomized MAC". I just want that it should be fixed for every SSID.

Ahh I love Mac randomisation, every network admins best friend. I remember when it was released, one of our subnets DHCP scope was exhausted within an hour as students mobile devices connected and reconnected to the network.
If the devices are managed by an MDM you can disable this feature.

I make sure with my managed iPads to turn this setting off when pushing out the wireless settings.
