MA-SFP-10GB-LRM compatibility with MS130X

The MS130X does appear on the list of supported devices for the transceiver MA-SFP-10GB-LRM.

Could confirm if this transceiver is suppoted or not on the MS130X platform ?

This SFP model is not supported on this switch model.

If you filter by Switch model you will see that other SFP models are supported.

I know the document URL I posted does not show the MA-SFP-10GB-LRM as supported. But the Meraki Sizing tool says this MS130X support this transceiver model

It is saying that it supports 10Gb SFP, but not that specific model, it is another SFP model as you can see in the document.

I would personally trust the datasheet over the Meraki Sizing tool.
The datasheet is generally considered to be the source of truth while the sizing tool (despite being created by a Meraki employee) is somewhat unknown in terms of its accuracy and guarantees.

Best way to be sure though would be to raise a case and have Meraki support confirm.

It's just the MA-SFP-10GB-LR (single mode) that's supported on the MS130X product suite.

Just found this post.
We actually run LRM modules on some MS130X, but we get a lot of CRC errors across different switches, while others are "just fine".
I expect I have some faulty modules rather then the module not being supported on the MS130X.

It sees the module fine, and you get link on the port, but for some reason, on 50% of links, we get a lot of CRC errors.

PS:

So we have tried to change fibercables, from OM3 to 4 and even tried singlemode cables (all switches are still "back to back"), and we still see CRC errors on ports.

We even tried to switch around SFPs from ports that did not really had any errors, and we get errors again on that same module in the new switch. So its not the modules, it would seem.
In a "twist of fate" we tried forcing the ports to 1Gbit , and ... supprise, no more CRC errors, this is very strange to me.
My guess is right now that the switch does not "like" LRM modules, and somthing(tm) happens.
