AnyConnect on MX64

Hi

Great to see MX 16.4 firmware ready to public beta!

I can see that AnyConenct is not available to MX64, are there any plans to add support at a later date?

Interestingly, my MX64 has shown AnyConnect as being available (and I tested it, it worked) since the 16.xx betas.

I'm not on 17.xx yet and I see this on the client VPN screen:

Wow, that really confuses me ...

I again approached Meraki Support for clarification but still waiting.

I've already seen it working on MX64 in the meantime. Perhaps it's not yet rolled out onto your shard.

So I guess I stand corrected, but a big fat "thank you Meraki for making it possible"! 😎

Yes, that is a big thank for Meraki to give some more love to these devices. If it will work for my MX64 I can replace my VPN-Concentrator Z3 with the MX64 and use the Z3 for traveling instead of using the old Z1.

As MX64 is End of Life'd, there just one way: upgrade to MX67 (or MX75 directly).

I just got the information that the MX64 and MX65 will get anyconnect support with MX17.6 Release...

EDIT: likely this answer was not correct. There is hope ... 😉

Sadly, the release notes are wrong. I upgraded my MX64W to 17.6 but there was no AnyConnect. Meraki Support told me that there is no AnyConnect on this devices:

"Thank you for contacting Cisco Meraki Support.

The MX64 does not support Cisco Anyconnect at the moment. For more information about AnyConnect on the MX Appliance please refer to the documentation article below;
https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/AnyConnect_on_the_MX_Appliance#Caveats

I will set this case to closed. However, if you require any further assistance, please feel free to reach out by calling support or responding to this email and we can reopen the case and continue on from there."

@KarstenI sorry for that...I only got an information on it, but did not test it myself.

See the attachement i got.

I will also ask back about it.

I've upgraded one of our MX64s to 17.6 and I don't see the settings for AnyConnect yet.

@KarstenI and @AnythingHosted  I just got the information that it should be available on all servers within a week.

Now, if only you didn't have to buy a minimum of 25 licenses to actually USE AnyConnect!

Yes, they have to be bought, but luckily the PLUS license is quite cheap.

Hmm, maybe I was looking at the wrong thing?  How much is cheap?
