Below are the most important changes to our documentation between August 18th and October 25th:

 

Air Marshal

Change: Added note about containment and legal implications.

 

Minimum Bitrate Control

Band Steering Overview

RF Profiles

Change: Moved per-SSID minimum bitrates and band selections to RF Profiles.

 

Product Firmware Version Restrictions

Change: Added MG and supported firmware versions.

 

IPv6 Support on MR Access Points

Change: Added section about RA and DHCP Guards.

 

Meraki Health - MR Access Point Details

Change: Correction on firmware availability in section “5. AP Timeline”.

 

Home Screen Layout Payload for Systems Manager

Change: Added additional information about adding apps.

 

Managing Firmware Upgrades

Change: Added a note explaining the conditions for when certain upgrade options appear.

 

Getting Started

Change: Added MG references.

 

Returns (RMAs), Warranties and End-of-Life Information

Change: Updated expected delivery timeframe for customers with Meraki Now service.

 

Layer 3 and 7 Firewall Processing Order

Change: Added a note that MX devices only apply firewall rules to traffic that passes through the device, not traffic that is destined for the device itself.

 

Calculating BTU Consumption for Cisco Meraki Products

Change: Updated table to include values for new MX models.

 

MX Load Balancing and Flow Preferences

Change: Included new MX models.

 

Behavior during Connection Loss to Cisco Meraki Cloud

Change: Updated the behavior of MG.

 

Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR) integration with MR access points

Change: Added a change that enables NBAR for the firewall rules and traffic shaping pages for MR and MX.

 

Systems Manager Sizing Guide Recommendations

Change: New article.
