Do you get what is shown in the documentation?  I get only the L3 topology for most networks which is not much use...

Ah, it works for me on a phone, I think it doesn't like Microsoft Edge...

I don’t think it’s an Edge thing Charles.  I’m still getting stick lines on both Edge and Chrome.

What am I missing out on?

On one site of ours where it works, it looks like this:

The blue ring around one switch indicates a Cisco non Meraki switch

On most of our networks it looks like this:

Here is a working site with old and new topology views:

I think the text in the new one is way too small, but otherwise nicer.

If you hover over a link from a Meraki switch then you get more information:

The port information at the top is interesting as it contains the same bug that got the MX port page pulled, the cable actually goes into port 7 on the MX, but CDP/LLDP shows it as port 3, so that is what shows here:

I think the WAN ports are being ignored and then the LAN ports are counting up from 0

Care to share a screenshot anonymized ? I don't have it yet 😞

EDIT: It is a Early Access Feature.

Either there is a bug related to LLDP/CDP with MS120 or the part about Meraki devices from other network is not working :

EDIT 2 : Probably a bug with the new UI. The switch is able to identify the client via CDP/LLDP :
