This powerful feature will allow users of Meraki Systems Manager to deploy Cisco security on a per-app basis for both supervised and unsupervised devices, allowing for greater specified mobile management control.
One of the most exciting aspects of Managed Per App Networking via Cisco Security Connector is its ability to offer users seamless integration with Cisco security tools, including Cisco Umbrella per-app DNS and Cisco Clarity (Secure Endpoint) per-app web content filtering. These integrations will allow you to apply specific security policies to individual apps and provide an additional layer of protection and visibility for your organization.
With Cisco Umbrella per-app DNS, you can specify which DNS server to use for each app. This means you can enforce different DNS policies for different apps, such as blocking access to malicious domains or enforcing content filtering.

There are unique API integrations between Meraki Dashboard and the Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Secure Endpoint portals to make the profile creation in Meraki Dashboard occur seamlessly. This means you do not need to configure complex keys/values in MDM profiles, and you can be sure that the profile contains the proper configuration from your Umbrella and Secure Endpoint portals.
