This Meraki dashboard feature is designed to reduce time to resolution for our customers by easing manual tasks, simplifying the configuration process, and dynamically detecting errors.
The VLAN mismatch alert is triggered if any mismatch is found in native, allowed, or access VLANs, between two Meraki switches. The troubleshooting flow displays the current configuration and allows administrators to fix the issue from the troubleshooting panel without needing to navigate to different pages around the dashboard. Network administrators can also apply suggested settings with one click of the “Accept suggestion” button. The dynamic error detection feature also warns users if a new configuration being entered is incorrect, making issue resolution more intuitive.
