We are excited to announce the launch of the Cisco AI Assistant, now available in controlled availability for the Meraki dashboard! This is a major milestone in our journey to leverage the power of AI to make NetOps simpler and your networks smarter.
The Cisco AI Assistant is designed to optimize network management: automating routine tasks, expediting troubleshooting, and empowering IT productivity. By leveraging AI-powered intelligence, recommendations, and insights, the AI Assistant helps streamline routine network operations, freeing up valuable time for more strategic work and innovation.
The Cisco AI Assistant is focused on enhancing four critical areas of network management:
Troubleshooting – Identifying anomalies and resolving network issues quickly to minimize downtime and help prevent major outages.
Network Overview - Gaining deeper visibility into network health and user experience with instant intelligence and summarized network data.
Monitoring: The AI Assistant assists with real-time monitoring by providing immediate access to critical network metrics, anomaly data, device health, and potential bottlenecks.
Configuration: Working with the Cisco Workflows product, the AI Assistant can automate a variety of configuration and set-up tasks to greatly reduce routine network management processes.
This initial release will be a controlled availability launch in the Americas, so if you're interested in experiencing the power of the Cisco AI Assistant firsthand, you can opt-in via the Early Access page in the Meraki dashboard (see image below). Access will roll out gradually, and you will be notified directly within the dashboard once the feature is enabled for your org.
This is just the start for the Cisco AI Assistant. We are continuously working to expand its capabilities, refine its responses, and integrate it with other upcoming AgenticOps solutions.
