Hi all,
Here's my situation:
I currently have a network that is in the "appliance" network type. The network currently consists of an MX250.
I will be adding switches and access points to the location.
I would like to know how I can accomplish adding the switches and access points to this network so that everything shows up under the same network.
@Shadius : when you select all networks, you will see all devices until unless you have only one ORG
Claim your order. Go to the org >inventory. Select a device, and add it to the mx network.
If that does not work just create a New network. Then go the org overview page. Select both networks and press combine

As @ww states. Create a new Network, put the new devices in there then merge the required Networks together. Simples
Doing this will not affect the configuration of the MX250 in the appliance network, correct?
Correct, zero impact.
Thank you all for the assistance!
Neither adding the switches to the MX250 appliance network or creating a new combined network then splitting that same network, then selecting the split networks and the MX250 appliance network and selecting "combine" worked.
Here is the message I receive:
Hi @Shadius , amend the Client Tracking method on the Mx then give it another try. I’ve combined many separate MX networks with new switch and AP networks over the last few weeks with no issues
Will this work the same way when combining switch networks that already have configurations on them?
Probably just an MX specific issue with the client tracking feature.
When I created a new network, Meraki created a network that had sections for devices that I don't have such as Cellular Gateway & Environmental. Why did it do this and how can I remove those sections from the network?
Please see below:
Can anyone shed some light on this?
No, never.
I'm not sure why the network decided to include those two sections by default when I created it.
