I have a client who is going to have 3 separate uplinks feeding their remote location. They will have primary fiber service, a Starlink connection, and also want a cellular gateway. My question is if it is supported to have all three of these connections live at the same time on the MX105. Talk about overkill, but it's what the client wants, so that's why I'm asking.

Does anyone know of a way to completely disable bridging on an MR33? We have an issue of an MR33 acting as the uplink for a switch that is on a different VLAN. There is an outdoor AP with patch antennas that SHOULD be meshing to the core switch and acting as the uplink, but instead the MR33 is picking up the signal.

If you don't mind some downtime, you could unplug your MX from the gateway and run a speedtest.net with a laptop plugged directly into the gateway.

I believe so. Not all models have a silica packet, and its real tempting to throw it out (or eat it). If it comes with one, then the packet should stay.

You should be able to change the network assignment of an MR by going to Organization > Inventory then clicking the "Actions" drop down box. Then you would be free to move the AP's you wanted from one network to the other. The "Wireless" sub option should appear on the other network as soon as you move an MR onto the network. You will need to reconfigure the SSID settings on the network that you are moving the MR's to if you want it to match the network that already has MR's.

Usually this is due to smudging on the dome from the installers fingers. Have you tried taking a bottle of windex to the inside and outside of the dome, and then carefully replacing it without touching the dome? It could also be condensation on the inside, make sure the silica packet is still in place.

Z3's are the one Meraki product that my org has consistently had problems with. We thought they'd be a good solution for remote workers, but they just aren't reliable. I can definitely see how you are having issues if you have 20 devices on one, the recommended clients on the data sheet is only 5. We even have issues with one user on a laptop and IP phone. It's gonna be pricey, but you're gonna need MX64's at those retail sites.

If you post a screenshot of your IPsec settings that might help us figure out whats going on. (Security & SD-WAN> Site-Site VPN> Organization Wide Settings) Usually if I have site-site issues with a non meraki peer, its a subnet issue or IPsec settings. Yes, he is running windows 10. He is using the built-in windows 10 VPN client, but I think he does have a password saved. I will try changing that. I’ll take a look at those scripts too, that seems useful

Hey guys, I have a user who uses the client VPN, which has AD authentication enabled. He is a "light" user of the client VPN (only 2-3 times per month) His connection will work fine for a month or two, then it will suddenly break. We've found that the only thing we need to do is reset his password in AD, and he will immediately be able to connect again. His AD password is set to never expire, so I'm not sure why this keeps happening. Any ideas on troubleshooting this issue? Thanks!

Hey, I do a lot of physical cabling, so I can chime in on this too. I always try to keep electrical and cat6 as separate as possible, if you are doing cabling for a new building, cat6 should be in its own trunks anyways. Thats not always realistic when you are running additional cables though. Just do your best to keep them away from each other and you wont run into any problems. If the electrical is that metal shielded stuff you don't need to worry much at all. Also, when crossing a cat6 cable over electrical, try to keep it as close to a right angle as you can, that will also minimize interference. Edit: Just to add to this, you'll only really run into a big problem if you are zip tying a cable to electrical over a long distance. You can probably get away with more that you think you can, unless you are dealing with crazy voltages, or strict regulations.
