@beks88 At this stage it looks as though it not supported as SM only shows sync options for ASM not ABM. I would say Meraki are working on this. @lpopejoy No it requires either ABM or ASM both are free to join. ABM simply requires a DUNS number ot join and ASM you have to prove that you are a school.

1. Set up 3rd Party management for Device management in Google Workspace 2. Create a token and copy it. 3. In the Dashboard under Organization / MDM, choose Google authentication and paste in the token. Once that is done, when someone adds their work email to their phone, SM will download and install automatically. The end user will need to enroll the device so they will need the enrolment code. There is currently a bug somewhere between Android / Meraki / Google Workspace that breaks this functionality in Android 11. -Dave

Your best solution right now would probably rely on a different service reporting that specific information for inventory that you could install via Meraki SM. Our health monitoring tools, software update tool and backup app all report on the details ID model number for Macs. ARD also knows how to grab those relatively easily. Caribou

Just an update - time seems to be a factor. The process is still long and complicated, but it appears the dashboard can be very inconsistent in displaying correct information. As an example, in the DEP view, devices would show as pushed, whereas in client view, the DEP status would be assigned. 24 hours later, everything seemed to have settled down.

That’s completely up to you and your team. I have some clients that did not want their employees to add apps and locked the devices so they could not add an Apple ID. I have other clients that let their employees add there Apple ID. One of the nice things about supervision is that, if you have an employee leave and lock their device, you can wipe and clear it remotely with Meraki.

Why wouldn't this be used the same way in Business as in School. In an Enterprise environment, it would be great for us to create and manage the AppleID as we do with other Enterprise issued ID's.

If you are setting device owners, you can try the following steps. It will allow it to configure at least the gmail app and should be able to setup the others too. Using_the_Managed_App_Settings_Payload
