BLE is used because it allows for a secure connection between the sensor and gateway. If ethernet was used traffic could be sniffed which could compromise the security of the transmitted traffic.

I don't think so as there is nothing in the dashboard to manage it.

Greetings @Jyrki_Halonen, @cmr is correct. Both models support PoE+. The MS210 Overview and Specifications documentation provides a breakdown of PoE capabilities by model, along with other model-specific details: Have a great day! Best, Feli

The Non-Meraki VPN tunnel will only be established between the Active WAN interface and the configured non-Meraki VPN peer. Typically, the WAN1 interface is the Primary interface, and assuming it is up, it will be considered the active interface, and the Non-Meraki VPN tunnel will be established over WAN 1 only (Port 3) and not WAN2 (Port 4). The MX will try to establish the VPN tunnel to the Non-Meraki Peer if WAN1 fails or if WAN2 is the Primary connection. You can change which WAN interface is the Primary interface on the "Security & SD-WAN > Configure > SD-WAN & Traffic Shaping" Page.

With hindsight, you're right, sorry (I only have an MG21 personally, where it is an LSP option). I raised this with product line and it is planned for addition to MG51 (and MG41) at some point, but with no fixed timeframe for availability, just now. I have asked the team for an update, which I'll share when I can.

I got an answer from Meraki Support that this is a bug in software: "It appears that you are hitting an unexpected behavior, where the API endpoint getOrganizationDevices returns "not running configured version". This is currently being looked into by our development. We do not have an ETA currently however I will keep you updated on our progress."

I agree with @rhbirkelund , but if I were to use one of the MR models I would use the MR36 which has similar characteristics Another observation, if in the future you are thinking about placing more APs, remember that the MX works standalone, that is, if you place an MR on site they will not exchange any radio frequency information.

I first heard of this new model with the introduction of the subscription-based Licensing. But it seems that it is also possible without the subscription-model.

Yes, that is how you would set a non default STP priority in a templated Meraki environment. So, each site would have a switch called whatever - core, 1, etc. Then set the STP bridge priority for that switch template in the main template. All other switches would bind to another template with another STP value (or probably just the default). And yes, when you bind a switch to a switch template it will inherit all settings. So, the port settings would be overwritten. In case you have switch stacks be aware of this limitation when it comes to stacks, templates, and STP priority. https://documentation.meraki.com/Architectures_and_Best_Practices/Cisco_Meraki_Best_Practice_Design/Best_Practice_Design_-_MS_Switching/Templates_for_Switching_Best_Practices#Guidelines_and_Limitations

"If 2 ports are right next to each other on a switch but they both are on different VLANs" In this case isolation makes no role, since they are on different VLANs. Isolation is restricting L2 traffic within a VLAN. So the use case you described it should be fine.
