IPv6 LAN capabilities are a requirement for VLAN Objects. VLAN objects and HA MXs (warm spare) do not work together since HA pair does not currently support IPv6. When a warm spare is added to a network, you will lose the ability to use VLAN objects and any existing L3 rules utilizing VLAN objects will be removed.

VLAN can have both IPv4 and IPv6 and still VLAN rula can be used. But I found the answer for this: it is related to MX with warm spare: "IPv6 LAN capabilities are a requirement for VLAN Objects. I can't use VLANs as an object in MX firewall rules. I only get potion to create new objects or use CIDR. I would like to use VLANs as source and destination on the firewall rule. I have used those in many organisations, but now for one new Meraki organisation I can't do that for some reason. Any tips?

I can't access Influitive Meraki Insiders app anymore. Is the contract with Influitive ended? Is there new page/app for the access? Error message from the Influitive is: " 🌟Welcome Back Anytime! Hi there! We noticed your contract with us has ended. Just so you know, we'd be thrilled to have you back anytime. Remember, our door is always open for you. I have been working in IT networking almost 30 years with network architecture and technology. Technology platforms include firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, switches, WLAN, etc. with multiple vendors. I have been keen on configuring through "black screen" CLI and thought it is the only way to do it. Currently I'm working as a network architect for networks and plan and consult customer network environments. However last 3 years I have been working with Meraki platform, first to check it out and figure if we could use this to our customer environments. After evaluation and being sure that Meraki platform would fit perfectly in most of our customer environments, we have implemented hundreds of Meraki appliances including almost full stack of Meraki devices, only SM and Insight is still bending for installations. So today my first choice is to plan and use Meraki platform to our customers since the simplicity of installation and operation makes great value for the money.

I have MX95 connected to MS-switch: WAN1 interface for ISP IC-network and LAN9 port for multiple internal VLANs. ISP is connected with 2x1G LACP channel to switch and LACP is configured to 802.1Q trunk with IC-network tagged to VLAN 10. Picture of connection: MX firewall WAN should be configured with static IP address provided by ISP. My question is: should I configure VLAN 10 IP to MX under: - Security & SD-WAN / Configure / Addressing & VLANs / Routing or - Security & SD-WAN / Monitor / Appliance status / Uplink / WAN1 ?

"Secondary uplink cannot be used for Internet connectivity" - this can't be true since Meraki usecase shows that MG can be used for WAN failover. for the DHCP: Dashboard states for Passtrhough mode: "This option can be used to disable the MG cellular gateway NAT. In this mode, the MG will forward the IP address provided by the carrier to a client behind it." Cellular uplink: I'm not using cellular uplink on MX

I have a MG51 which is connected to MX95 WAN port4. I try to establish IPsec VPN to non-Meraki firewall but I can't get tunnel working. When MG IP addressing & NAT deployment mode is 'Routed', I can see MG providing IP address 172.31.128.x at MX WAN2 uplink (SFP+ is not installed to WAN2), but IPsec VPN is not established. Otherwise connection to MX works on this setting When trying to use 'Passthrough' mode on MG, the MX95 WAN 2 uplink status is 'Failed'. and connection to MX is not working at all. Why MG is not forwarding the IP address provided by the carrier to MX in 'Passthrough' mode?

I have MG51 router port 1 connected to MX95 WAN port 4. When checking port connection speeds from both devices, result looks like: - MG51 port 1: connected 10 Mpbs Full duplex - MX95 WAN port 4: connected 2,5 Gpbs Full duplex. Is this UI bug or which speed information is correct?
