@Xydocq Thanks for the info, ideally I would just like to transfer the whole site as I won't be managing it anymore. Maybe the best option is to create a new account, reset the AP's and then add them to the new account.

Thanks everyone for the help, I think I've managed to work out which devices are assigned to what network now. David from the UK licensing support team has steered me in the right direction and kindly extended the grace period until the new licences get assigned. I'm still unsure what's happened on our Org licensing side of things though so hopefully we can get to the bottom of that at some point.

I'm currently talking to support on this issue however I'm struggling to get anywhere with it and the situation is becoming a little desperate. We started off on a per device licence model when we first started using Meraki back in 2018, it appears that was then transferred to a Co-Termination model not by us (haven't had answer from support) and then it's somehow reverted back to the per device model. The issue we have is that our MX devices which we purchased at different times of the year have now all expired on the 30th of Sept. Support won't give me any info as to why our licensing model was changed and have just stated we need to buy more licences for them. The issue is the 20 odd devices don't show which network they are assigned to on the dashboard so I don't know which MX licences have run out. To make matters worse these devices will stop working on the 30th of October as that's the end of the 'Grace Period' which for us falls during the half term holiday with no way of replacing 20 devices in schools which will effectively leave them with no internet when they come back in. As part of the devices due to expire are 10 x MR42 AP's which we purchased with 10 Year licences, support have basically said we will need to take a hit on those licences and purchase more licences for them to keep working. Don't get me wrong I love the whole Meraki eco system but I feel sometimes like support are not as helpful as other companies, and just saying we need to buy more licences to keep things running is fine for a large company but for a small company like ours its a real kick in the teeth. Especially as I haven't had any reasoning as to why our licensing model changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, is there any update on the Security Subscription/Umbrella issue when claiming the licence against the GX20? I assigned the licence but I still can't activate the Security Protection within the app. I get the error "Unable to access your Umbrella account. Please contact Meraki support directly" Any help would be appreciated as my customer currently has unfiltered internet. Thanks, Stu

Afternoon all, Just a quick question, I have installed about 5 Meraki Go networks over the course of the year, the biggest client having 6 AP's. All sites have been rock solid since installation but I have a school which would need 8 indoor AP's. My usual go to would be Ubiquiti as cost and performance are great but I'm really happy with the ease of setup of the Meraki Go AP's at the minute, we would love to have a full Meraki system but small schools just don't have the budget for it here in the UK. Do you think 8 Meraki Go AP's would be ok or shall I stick with Ubiquiti for the larger wifi networks? Thanks, Stu

Morning all, I'm trying to setup a NAT configuration for our Telephone system however the MX64 isn't displaying the client and local IP address. I can connect to the local IP address fine it's just the MX64 isn't picking it up under the client list. I also have the same thing for our Ruckus controller which is odd. When I scan the network using LAN scan it picks them up fine so I'm a little confused as to why the MX64 won't pick them up. Thanks in advance, Stu

Just a quick update as I'm only on site once a week, I tried changing the DNS server address to Google's and OpenDNS, once I closed and reopened the browser the group policy setup on the MX65 worked as it should do :). Is there any reason why my ISP DNS would be causing the issue? I'm going to contact them but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on why changing the DNS address to OpenDNS would be a bad move? Morning all, Thank you all for your help, basically I have just changed the Youtube settings under Content Filtering, so we have the following: We have no firewall settings for youtube so surely it should be relatively simple if the group policy is applied? When on site yesterday I tried rebooting the MX65 but no luck.

Morning all, I have an MX65 with content filtering, youtube filtering etc. One of the teachers in school needs to have unfiltered access to youtube. I created a new group policy and applied that to my machine and the teachers one, both however don't work with the group policy assigned. I've tried clearing cache etc but has anyone else got any other ideas? Internet - Modem (Bridged) - MX65 - Server - Clients DG is set to the MX65, DNS settings and everything else pushed from the local server. Thanks, Stu

Hi, I have a new MX65 connected to our bridged modem however I need to add a username and password for the WAN connection to work. I can find where to change the IP details to manual however can't find anywhere to change the connection to PPPoE. After doing some research it seems to indicate that this needs to be done from the local admin page instead of the dashboard interface, is this correct? Would seem sensible to be able to change that through the dashboard/Uplink settings though. I have tried connecting through my local network but can't seem to access the local page either, is it best to connect to the directly MX65 over ethernet and change the settings that way? I'm currently trying to connect locally through my laptop using the school's wifi, even tried on the school server but no joy. Sorry if all the questions seem a little basic 🙂 Thanks, Stu
